Signed on 9 August, and Blackpools thirteenth new signing (gulp!), on an emergency loan due to having three strikers out injured - Stephen McPhee, Steve Kabba and Daniel Nardiello.
Born on 19 February 1989, in Birmingham. Current age 19 years old. He is 5ft 8in and plays as a striker.
Aluko made his debut for Birmingham City in a League Cup match in August 2007 as a late substitute against Hereford United. He joined Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen later in August on loan for the rest of the 2007-08 season, where in February 2008 he scored the clubs second goal in a 2-2 draw with German giants Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup, earning himself the Man-of-the-Match award. He made a total of 31 appearances for the Dons scoring four goals.
Aluko has played for England at every level up to Under-19 so far.
