Irons vs. Villarreal Broadcast?

Anyone here have any leads on where the game might be broadcast online? Most of my usual spots aren't showing the match and prefer not to have follow the updates on the official site.

BBC Radio might be playing it. The online transmission has a message about rights restrictions, etc and this usually means there is a match on.

No sound on that stream but it's better than nothing.

From what I have seen of the game it has been pretty much Villreal controlling things. They have looked good in possession and the only thing stopping them from scoring more is our defence, which has looked solid. Some people have criticised our defence, personally I don't see the problem. When called upon they do the job and if anything they could use some more support from midfield.

It's 1-1 at half time. Their goal looked good but I haven't seen our's. Also of note is that Ben Thatcher really is playing. I thought it might have been a rumour or a bad joke but it's true. :o

The mind boggles. AC must be really low on funds to be thinking about signing him.

To be honest, Thatcher is exactly the sort of signing that Curbishley usually finds success with. I don't want to sign him because he's an aggressive nasty piece of work who used to play for Millwall but Curbishley's strength has always been finding cheap, workable Premier League players, not signing big names.

We actually seemed to pick up our game a bit in the second half, after the youngsters came on. Had a goal disallowed. Sears I think it was.

There was also a few handbags in the second half and Villareal players seemed to go down very easily.

The game was OK, a bit of a pre season romp really.

Currently watching Man Sh1tty (as opposed to Man Ure) againsst AC Meeeeelan on Channel 5. I always think that they are a main rival for us, about the same standard with equally large support. Anyway, on the basis of our game earlier and their game on now we have little to worry about.
