I could discuss FCN. They went from Mr. Lady, to something that looks nearly as gay as a shirt sponsor.
No wonder you would think it is gay. It is a French energy conglomerate specializing in nuclear energy. ;)
However, Areva's German headquarters is based in my German "hometown" of Erlangen! They employ a few of my old friends, so I can't rip them too much. :o
EDIT: Check this out from Wikipedia - Areva's main shareholder is the French owned company CEA, but the German company Siemens also retains 34% of the shares of AREVA's subsidiary, AREVA NP, in charge of building the European Pressurized Reactor. Better not f#ck with them man, one wrong button push on that reactor and they can f#ck us all up! We'd have another Chernobyl - LOL!
I think they might make a run towards promotion now.
They could. That was huge three points for them yesterday.
However, I'll see how they follow it up before I start using words like "run toward promotion." :)

French Energy company, is that a euphemism for something? ;)
Run - has to start somewhere, so I'm going to say it started yesterday I don't like to wait with my predictions, I like to make them bold

Well, it would be just FCN's f#cking stupid luck to start a "run" just four match days before the winter break.

You had me spitting my peanut butter sandwich on that one.
Hey no better time like the present, win those points, and put fear into the competition ;)

Yeah. I'm hoping it is the start of something.
I'm hoping to catch them live at the Allianz Arena against 1860 on December 14th.
It'll be my last Bundesliga fix before the seven week winter break! :(

And here I was thinking someone other than Uwe was interested in discussing FCN again. :(
;)
Ok- so I'll ask the Aussie angle- you wouldn't happen to know how are Spiranovic and Vidosic progressing? ;)

Spiranovic is injured and not expected back until sometime after the winter break.
Vidosic has played about a total of 50 minutes this season, but he did play the final fifteen minutes of FCN's 2-1 victory over local rivals Greuther Fuerth this past Sunday.

re: Spira- I know he had an injury of sorts as he wasn't in our WCQ squads. Had he been playing up until the injury though? Going well? etc
re: Vidosic- I'm surprised he's been getting minutes, as I thought he'd been relegated to the reserves squad- so 50 minutes is better than nothing! ;) Is he viewed as a prospect or when his contract's done he'll be relaeased on a free?

He was starter for Oenning after Wolf's injury up until his injury. I didn't see every match, but I thought he was "OK."
However, if he keeps playing the way he did against Fuerth, Dominic Maroh will make it hard for Spiranovic to get back into the lineup.

I think he'll be given a chance to earn an extension the rest of this season and next season.
That is unless he doesn't play well the rest of this season and they get an offer for him after the season.
His contract is valid through next season and if he proves to be useful, I think they'll keep him until at least then.
Uwe, if you are out there, have you heard anything different? I'm just going from what I've seen and what others have told me here.

Longtime FCN fans and followers are used to them by now.
Don't make them any easier to take, but we're used to them......
