Dude, it means he had a couple of good matches. That doesn't "prove" anything. Ibrahaim Tanko had more than three GREAT Bundesliga matches, but what happened to him??

I remember when the FCN fans used to sing, "Auge, Auge, du bist der beste mann", as Augenthaler was f#cking destroying one of the most talented FCN teams in 20 years.

Like I said, being a "fan darling" is worth about as much as shit-stained paper.

EDIT: People still claiming it was the right thing to do to fire Meyer half a year ago should probably now, if they hadn't already, really start to reconsider what the affects of his departure were, what got better (nothing), what got worse (a whole list of things), and what this has meant for FCN in recent months...

No, but he's enough of a prideful idiot to not take the money just for the satisfaction of telling Roth to "F#ck Off......"

I don't think so. Bader was there before TvH. Bader was the guy who got them Hans Meyer and built the team that won the DFB Pokal. Bader has credit with Roth.

But, I think Bader might quit if he doesn't want to do things Roth's way. FCN has lost so many good managers and coaches in the past for that very reason.

I'm not afraid to say I was wrong on TvH. Again, I'm saying I was wrong about him being the right man for FCN. I'm not saying I was wrong about FCN needing a coaching change last season. But I go back to what I said before. After reading Misimovic's comments after the season, I doubt any coach could have saved FCN last season and it looks like that just carried over into this season so far.

Back to TvH. I thought he'd come in and work with what he had, which is what he did last season. However, this season, he was clearly favoring his former Bielefeld players to the point that he was making stupid lineups such as the one he did in Kaiserslautern.

As soon as I heard Roth rejected both TvH's and Bader's call for a new defender to replace Andy Wolf, I knew there would be trouble.

I'm really surprised that Bader didn't quit along with TvH, but I'm thinking maybe Bader believes he can fix the situation with the right coach.

And with Vittek having been sold and Abdonardo having been basically "sacked", I don't see how Roth can't allow Bader to go out and buy another central defender for FCN. Someone who can not only fill-in for Wolf, but who is good enough to play alongside Wolf upon Wolf's return.

But any time Roth gets involved, there is trouble. And things always turn out badly for FCN......

I'm happy that at least our boss Rolf Königs doesn't get involved that much lately ... so he hopefully learned his lesson in contrast to Mr. Roth.

The Nurnberger Zeitung also mentions Wolf as the likely replacement. Also Vittek was sold to Lille for 3.5M Euros.

The big surprise today was that 1FCN was able to come back after going down 02 to snatch a point against Alemania Aachen.

BTW-Vittek played 71 minutes with Lille and they beat Bordeaux for their first win of the season 2-1.

Defender Mitreski moves from Koln to FCN (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/news/23225/01092008_13_41/news/anzeigen.html)


This shows me Roth just wanted to get rid of TvH. They tell TvH he can't have a new defender, but right after TvH quits, they sell two players and buy Mitreski from Koln.

Crazy. They could have simply done the deals and kept TvH.

My guess is that after the fact, Bader made Roth see that his stance was stupid and bound to doom the club.
