When you look at some of the salaries paid to players here in the United States, it makes you wonder if you're really getting what you paying for in Nürnberg.
There are quite a few young players here that would be a serious upgrade for the Club. If my memory serves me correctly, the club had a tremendous amount of financial problems when I was there 88-94.
It sure looks bleak.
It almost always looks bleak at FCN......

Great match by "der Glubb" today, especially in the first half when you were really giving us a good spanking. Definitely our worst first half in ages. No other team dominated us so much this season like you did in the first half.
That's why you shouldn't be too sad about the points you lost, the very good performance should make you rather optimistic about the upcoming weeks.

Actually, the finish was more "same old FCN".
I like how you respect opposing fans though!

Impressive away win against the champions today! Congrats.
Surely a bit lucky after the 2:2 (from what I saw in the Sportschau), but also deserved due to the first half and incredible 24 shots within the 90 minutes (that's superb for an away match!). Peer's last-second winner was a counter-attack par excellence...
3 away goals in Wolfsburg (that Bunjaku guy gets better and better) after just 2 goals out of the previous away games ... wow, something must have happened in training ahead of this match!
PS: I wouldn't be surprised to see the goalie R. Schäfer getting suspended by the DFB-Kontrollausschuss for a few weeks after his silly action against Misimovic.

Yep. That will definitely tarnish today's huge victory.
No excuse for what Schäfer did. None.
But let's hope this victory can get FCN back on the right track.
