I call it justice. ;)

Me. :p
Nah, really after these perfect cup results I wouldn´t even mind
loosing in league. But if we win we destroyed the whole season
of our biggest "wanna-be" rival within less than a month.
Looks like Olic could be out for the rest of the season.
This will make it even harder to end the season well.

I think Werder had it quite easy though! I find it quite annoying that we were playing against them in the UEFA cup and national cup at the same time. So they were able to only concentrate on us for the Cup tie and UEFA cup. They didn't really have to care about their situation in the league, because it was quite clear they aren't going to get qualified for anything or relegated. I think they were planning already from way before the cup tie for this scenario of playing against. Lucky bastards.

Well it makes sense though wouldn't it if they were "prepared" from before.
Anyway, I wish Werder all the best in the UEFA.

"Bild" is reporting that Martin Jol wants to leave HSV for Ajax Amsterdam!
They cite differences with management on summer transfers as the main reason for Jol wanting to bolt.
Usually, my first thought is that "Bild" is full of shit, but I think this one is more than likely true.

Pretty reliable Dutch media report that Jol made an agreement with Ajax.

Apparently he's leaving Hamburg due to a dispute with the club board over new signings.

Well, Hamburg's chairman is denying that.
The money available for transfers wasn't the problem, it was something entirely different.
Apparently, though that's not coming from Hoffmann, Jol wanted more power for himself, just like he's getting in Amsterdam now. A manager-role like it is common in England. Hoffmann and the supervisory board were of a different opinion. They think headcoach and manager should be two different persons.
In short, they decided to stick with their approach, and thus with Beiersdorfer as manager, instead of giving Jol more power.

I have no problem believing that. After all, Ajax did give him the "keys to the kingdom".
I'll bet he got the Ajax offer and went to HSV asking for the same power. When HSV refused, he took the Ajax offer.
It is very easy to believe that could be what happened.
More coaches in Germany are going to ask for that kind of power.
After all, Felix Magath just won a title with it and if he does it at Schalke too, some will believe that is the new way to go.

I cannot believe HSV hired freakin' Bruno Labbadia. A guy who took a better Leverkusen team than the last coach had to a worse finish.
HSV should have just saved the money they paid for Labbadia and f#ckin' re-hired Thomas Doll.
They just BOUGHT a coach who is pretty much a Doll clone.

Yea, I could not believe it when I first read it. And on top of that, the immediacy with which they picked and appointed him, almost as if they were worried about missing out on a great steal.
Watch him make Hamburg Meiser! LOL
