Totally predictable result. At least it won me some money but still...
Because of games like this Bayern will become champion.
I don't believe Bayern will become champion, there frankly hasn't been any indication towards this all season.

Makes Jol's decision to field the A team against NEC even more puzzling.
Like F96 said, totally predictable result.

Not fielding a complete B team against NEC may well have had to do with the fact that the TV rights to the match had been sold to national TV (besides that many people had bought tickets). Makes sense, huh?
As for the result being predictable, so what, the league is very competitive/narrow this year, Bayern is dealing with exactly the same problem.

Totally agree with this comment. I don't see this being a "Bayern year". Every time they show signs of moving forward, they take a step back.
Kind of like Leverkusen.
I have to say, I have no idea who will win the title. It's just one of those years where one of five teams can take it.
But I will say that despite yesterday's loss, HSV is my favorite to take it.
I love these seasons. :D

Personally I still think Bayern will win it. I'm convinced they will plough through eventually. Hopefully i'm wrong.

My money's on HSV. They've been, by far, the most consistent team this season, whatever that's worth.

Rumours in the Netherlands persist that Twente left winger Elia will be joining HSV in the summer.

After conceding a very stupid goal in the first half, things are looking good for you now against Galatasaray in the UEFA Cup. Jansen scored the equaliser, and a Turkish player was sent off. Come on Hamburg, you need to take advantage of it now.

They really don't look like they will take advantage. :(

Yes. Benjamin hit the bar earlier, but HSV really should increase the pressure more, that has been rather disappointing so far. Galatasaray are playing clever though.

It looks like Gala could score on the counter to be honest, I think it will end 1-1. 82nd minute now.

Agree with the German commentator, moving back Jansen to the LB position has actually made HSV considerably less dangerous in the attack, despite having an additional striker with Olic on the pitch.

Unbelievable what kind of chances Trochowski and Olic just missed. Unbelievable, that could really cost them.
And it almost did already, Galatasaray scored on a counter, but the goal doesn't count.

Trochowski missing from 6 yards, that was a failure at life moment from him. C'mon, last minute goal now!!

And Olic misses an open net shot, jesus!!! Are you kidding me?

1-1 FT
Those huge chances missed at the end could really cost HSV, they should have won the match, and probably should have taken advantage of playing against ten men better.
A pity really, it is going to be tough to advance now, we all know how strong Galatasaray are at home. Still, nothing lost yet, hope they can prevail in Istanbul.
