Just got a iPod Touch the other day, was playing around on the internet and got to wondering. Does any one know if this is possible? If I'm at work I use Sopcast to catch most of the games. Might be wishful thinking, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Don't think it is unfortunately. What I've been doing is just waiting for the highlights to get on youtube and watch it on there. Very good purchase though i love my ipod touch.

If you already have an iPod...why not just try it and see?
I believe it is possible

You may want to try to just wait and bit torrent/newsgroup the match and then watch it that way?

Probably not, and by that i mean 99% no. You can't run flash on an iPod or iPhone so that's why I'd have to say no.

I'm waiting for Slingbox to make an iPod touch or iPhone app to take advantage of the built-in Wifi. THAT would be incredibly cool.

This.
You can, of course, download the match and watch it later, but no live streaming.

Where do you find the full matches to download?

The rumor was that Apple is working with Adobe to get a flash that will run well on the iPHone/touch. I'm sure slingbox is working on a Iphone version but I expect it will take a while for apple to approve it.
If you are willing to hack your touch--there might be some flash player work around--but nothing supported by apple as far as I know. *sighs*

Not to offend anyone, but somehow David Lynch's comments on Iphone seem relevant here (not suitable for work, substitute "Soccer Match" for "Movie")

Well, I've been to a live match and I can tell you that watching at home isn't even the same "experience". So unless Mr. Lynch's crazy ass wants to Fly me to the Emirates. He can fcuk off! :D

Yup.
Although, the torrents usually show up on mininova.org as soon as they're up, so I'm not sure if fbtz membership is actually required.
