We should have won this one. Didn't finish off the match at all due to defensive mistakes from two players whom 'til those mistakes were made, had good matches. Camara for not getting in front of Makukula's rocket - which was near impossible for any mortal to stop. The other was Sakho's error - I'm not liking certain patterns with his mistakes. They seem to be the same type. Makelele didn't play. Giuly didn't make the trip. I do like what I saw today aside from not finishing with a win. I can't wait for the season to begin next week in Monaco with a win.
Fabrice had a great match and seems to work very well with Sessegnon in the middle. A few times he was called offside but they were close and I for one can live with those types of offide calls. Garcia and Sessegnon looked great!!! Sessegnon is what we were missing last season. Mulumbu also looked great. Keep an eye on Yannick Boli ~ I got a feeling that he's going to be a plesant surprise this season. I don't fault Landreau for either goal but there was something about his play today that made mumble - "Bring in Itandje from Liverpool".
