Congratulations, well deserved win, we looked flat in attack all game long and didn't really do anything that warranted a better result.
Commisserations. But you can take a lot from that tournament really. I hope the manager of your national team proper has learnt from it.

I think the Nigeria game proved that we won't win anything with a third-string defense. Would be nice if we had a footie federation that wasn't afraid to show clubs the middle-finger like Brazil did.

I wouldn't say that. The Netherlands in very poor form managed to get a draw against Nigeria. I can't see why the Belgians couldn't do better. The Nigerians have physically strong and technically gifted players but they'll always concede chances against them as they're not very well organised defensively.

I have to butt in... this Nigeria side is very well organized defensively. They've lost 3 goals so far. One from a spot kick, whilst being 4:0 up, a the other two from blunders from the goalkeeper (not the defense).

The Nigerian defense is solid. They also won almost every 1 on 1 duel against Belgium, something that hadn't happened to us before in this tournament.
