Dre: And Brasil accumulated 6 yellow cards how? Come on... Brasil was fouling just as much if not more than the Cameroonians...

After 90 minutes of play on being 10 on 11 how else would you play? Any side with the slightest brains would go for penalties...

It was absolutely painful to watch Brasil playing today... ugly, brutal and tactical football... not the Brasil people love.

---

Now compare Brasil to the sides in the Nigeria - Ivory Coast game. Adventurous attacking football... we have 7 strikers in total on both sides.

it was ugly because Cameroon keep fouling Brazil. What part of that dont you understand? There was a reason there were so many fouls and yellow cards. There was no flow, because cameroon wouldnt let them, its not Brazil's fault they got hacked down at every opportunity.

So I guess Brasil got all those yellow cards when it was only Cameroon fouling?

Additionally why is it that official statistics show that Brasil had one less foul during the game than Cameroon?

And how come its Cameroon's fault for no game flow, yet it was Brasil fielding 5 defensive midfielders?

Yes. Cameroon might have been tougher, but Brasil tried to give out as might as it took.

Look at the facts. Brasil might be efficient, but they play antifootball under Dunga.

yes Dunga does that because it works against your weak ass team.

They are not my team but whatever floats your boat ... Fact is brazil plays like shit but props to them though they win and that's what counts (not trying to sound sarcastic or anything since I really mean it). Just don't play this whole brazil still plays "juego bonito" futbol and it was Cameroons fault...and all this other crap...

The Argentina game plays into Brazil's hands better than the Cameroon game. I expect a lot more free flowing soccer.

prediction 2-1 Brazil

I dont know the last game between these 2 powers was.......pretty boring..I know it's different players but the argie midfiled backbone (2 dm's) of Gago and Masch are still there.

its no offence, but Nigeria is favored plain and simple, who says nobody is respecting Belgium. If you guys can pull off the upset, then props to you in advance, but Nigeria is clearly favored.

I wouldn't say that. The Netherlands in very poor form managed to get a draw against Nigeria. I can't see why the Belgians couldn't do better. The Nigerians have physically strong and technically gifted players but they'll always concede chances against them as they're not very well organised defensively.

What? Nigeria bad in defence? Sorry. Not this Nigeria squad. You can say a lot about this squad but not that its defense isn't up to par. Its the best Nigerian defense I've seen at any level.

well giving up 3 goals on the way to the final is pretty good defence. All 3 goals should not have been scored either. The first two were gifts to USA and Japan due to very poor decision making by the keeper, absolutely not the defences fault. The goal against Belgium was from a well taken freekick, but it was not even a foul. The defender got all ball.

First off they were lucky to draw, second the only reason they drew is because they played Nigeria in the first game. This team has improved dramatically with every game and it reflects that in the scorelines. Nigeria didn't even have one proper friendly before this tournament. Only now are they starting to gel, and quite frankly the ease they disposed of CIV and Belgium is quite frightening to say the least, considering how well both those teams have played. Brazil or Argentina better really beware.

Congratulations, well deserved win, we looked flat in attack all game long and didn't really do anything that warranted a better result.

thanks, I missed the first half, but Belgium started the 2nd pretty good for the first bit then got killed on the counter. I'm very surprized how well our team turned out, but the heroics of the Italy victory must have really drained your team. Good luck when WC qualifying begins.

I only saw the NL v Nigeria game of the Nigerians so when you tell me you've dramatically improved I'll take your word for it.

Anyway I hope you'll win it now esp since the Brazilians and Argentinians on this MB have a very annoying sense of entitlement.
