Hey,
I recently ordered the Diadora Sensible Whites. The touch was brilliant (kangaroo) and the traxion was great. But I decided to return them because I was worried about them getting dirty. Also, I wasn't too sure about durability.
So I ordered the Reebok Baleni II. I've heard that anything above $80 should be quality, but does anybody have real feedback on the boots or microfibre in general? (I still haven't received the purchase)

u'll never get the same fit as k-leather because it has minimal stretching.

I have white CL Precisions and they don't get that dirty at all...just maintain them...but it's too late anyways.

Also I hear that the Majestad are pretty nice boots. They're a microfibre with kontrol touch from Kelme. Anybody know about these.
You guys are probably sick of my questions, but where I'm located, although they have good soccer teams, they don't have the stores where I can try out pro-level; boots. So I have to do as much research as possible before I order.

the only synthetic leather boots I care for are Nikes I just got the Vapors today and they fit better than Kangroo I think (i also have the total 90 2's), anyways i am not the biggest fan of Kelme so this might be a bit bias but I would shy way from that company just due to the funny fit of their boots the real leather boots they make are soft but just fit kinda weird but all the microfiber i have felt from them is kinda crappy

yea, I have a fairly wide foot, and I just got the Total 90 II's and they fit a heck of a lot better than any leather boot I have had. I also dont have to worry about them stretching to the point of creating holes like my Predators did(90's dont stretch as much, which is fine because they are like a sock right now).......

- what do you mean by crappy? Did you actually play in the boots? Are they crappy because of projected durability? Why is Kelme so bad?

Every single person but one...me. I absolutely hate Kelmes. My college team is sponsored by Kelme and I hate their boots. The most uncomfortable boots ever.

i hate Kelme because its cut so funny in teh shape that it never fits my foot in the right manner.

I have worn Kelme boots twice in my life and couldnt stand either pair they didnt fit well at all and they just felt bad to me the leatehr was nice to teh touch but taht was about it. The reason i ahve said the microfiber is crappy is because i have tried on the Mjasadte and it felt like it was going to rip at any second and the guy that owns teh soccer store who i am friends with says he gets a ton of returns on teh kelme micro fiber boots

So if Kelme is so bad, what boots would you get for under $120 (the cost of the master whites)? I know you like the vapors, but i'm not interested in paying $180 for them. I have tried the Reebok Baleni's and if the Rampantes are similar in touch and fit, they would be nice. But what do u suggest?

For under 120, you can get the best boot ever made IMO...the Umbro Speciali. They fit like a glove and are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. There is also the Nike Tiempo Premier, which I've heard is Nike's equivalent to the speciali. There are the Diadora Brasil's which are extremely comfortable. Eurosport as a huge sale on boots right now as well...check it out at www.soccer.com.

My advice though: go for the Speciali's...that is if you can find a pair in your size, they are a rarity right now to find...I'm thankful I just found my size and they should be here tomorrow...:)

I am a big fan of the Diadora Brasil, and the Air Zoom Total 90 ll's as well. Lotto Staidos are great shoes as well i know the Brasil and the Staido are in the price range your looking for and you may be able to find some Air zooms on sale at a place called Centrumsports.com.

I liked my Umbro Specaili's as well but they ripped after three wearings(I am not sure if this was an uncommon thing with that shoe but since they dont have an active Umbro company on this side of the Alantic I could get another pair thus causing me to try the Vapors).

Its more up to your personal prefrence and foot shape as well. also do you like boots that are more of a classic style or are you a bells and whistle type of guy?

I like mostly classic style boots I have never had a pair of "high tech" boots other than the Nike total 90 and Vapors that I liked. If you are not opposed to waitinga little bit for your boots you could have a look at www.prodirectsoccer.com and see whats being sold over seas tehy havea ponds to doller conversion on their site as well as pricing index for teh cost of the shoes mminus English taxes, they have the Umbro's there and Mizuno boots which you cant get Sate side these days.

I would also shy away from Reebok they have long been know for making shotty boots that tear very quickly as well as the fact that they dont offer any classic style boots these days puts me off of tehm as a shoe choice personally

As for my boots I like my Vapors and have for the most part been happy with them not tears or rips but I have found a website that is still selling the Mizuno Rivaldo Wave Cup boot that Rivaldo wore in WC 02 they only made 2002 pair of this shoe and I waited too long this summer to order them from pro direct or so I though till I found some yesterday so I am going to pick them up, so I am not kicking myself for missing out on them again.

Get back to me and let me know what your personal need are and i coulds help you a little more

on the note of the kelmes
-i had the master whites earlier this year. i really liked them, that is till that ripped out halfway through their first season, and after treating them after every use and wearing them only in matches.

couldve just been a bad pair....wait, two of teammates ripped em out really quickly, and the other's are staying together after a first wear tape job.

however, i dont want to bash kelme. much of my team uses kelmes, and overall theyre great, just the master whites seem to be sh*** made shoes. dont get them.

Well you can see them on www.prodirectsoccer.com but I am not giving out the site adress I am ordering them from till I have my order confirmed so I can make sure this pair of limited edition boots are comming home to me in a UK size 10(US size 11) but hey if you wear a diffrent size than me then I will tell you where to get them :) plus the image on prodirect is much clearer than the other site
