If anyone in NY/northern NJ area is interested who doesn't read the Red Bulls board or the MF boards, I know there are many of us who plan on going down to this game. I was looking around to see if perhaps a NJB Charter bus would be warranted for this trip. How many people are seriously going to this game and would be interested in this. Similar to ESC bus trips, we would have two stops. One easier for NY peeps and one easier for NJ peeps.
Price per person MINUS ticket looking to be around $30 low end to $60 high end per person.
If you are SERIOUSLY going to the game and are interested, please let me know so I can begin more concrete preparations.

Not to think to far ahead, but assuming that we get this 1st bus filled, it would be great having 2 NYC/NJB busses going down to DC for this game.

Currently, after starting the thread yesterday, we are at 40% capacity...and a bunch of maybes. Looks good so far.

I'm looking to make the trip from Boston. Thankfully it's a 3-day weekend with Columbus Day the following Monday, so I'll have some travel options at my disposal.
Any word on SGs from New England making the trip?

You'd have to ask Patfan1.

bus from NYC/NJ i filling up fast. 30+, in addition, a fair number of vflkirwan's group are about to commit, with additional 'maybes'
maybe we should consider a 2nd bus! :)
Just a heads up for your travel plans, the SEs got word that the timing of this game is going to shift from 4 pm to 7 pm (it's not noted on the US Soccer site yet, naturally!) 7-11 is going to be the sponsor so it's 7 pm on the 11th (I'm so not kidding!)

Right around where we need to be.
Alright people. We are doing this. 1st Ever North Jersey Brigade Charter Bus Trip.
The deposit has been put down on the bus and there is no turning back now.
CLICK HERE (http://www.njbrigade.com/us_cuba.html) for the details for anyone interested in going down on the bus to see the US vs Cuba World Cup Qualifier on Saturday October 11th at 7pm.
One stop in NYC, one stop in NJ.
The trip will be on a first come, first serve basis. The first 50 people I get the money from, will be the 50 people that go on the bus.
To be fair to the people who said "IN" on the various boards I posted this, I will be contacting them with the order/sign up information and will give a one week 'pre-sale' if you will, before I open it up to everyone else. The one week will last until Wednesday August 20th.

Thanx Ed. If I can make the TO game on Sunday, can I give you a down payment (half ?) towards the trip, or do you need the whole thing up front? I understand if you do.
