Felt pretty small. Still knocked out my phone line. Can't get in touch with people and can't get cell to work either.

It rocked my truck pretty violently. I was sitting at a traffic light here in Thousand Oaks on my way to get some lunch, and the whole thing started to shake - lasted maybe 7-8 seconds. Radio station I was listening to said it was a 6.1, but not where it originated.

We had a big earthquake a while back, not sure if it was that bad, but earthquakes in Yorkshire are as rare as rocking horse shit. Please, mods, delete my frivolous comment if it turns out that anyone has been killed or injured.

my whole house in Pasadena was shaking pretty bad. My sister and I ran out into the backyard, she was almost crying and she's 13. It was quite a shake, but really short.

Glad its not just me making a joke about it. As I said it was just a bedroom accident involving Pires, apparently its breaking on BBC news that Ruud told Pires he'd be playing against the smurfs, when he woke up and flipped on the answer machine. He was so shocked that he fell out of bed, slightly damaging the bedroom wardrobe and completely demolished the back wall of his house.

It wasn't bad in Santa Monica. Everything swayed, but nothing was knocked off the shelves.

Those are always interesting sites, people are always predicting quakes in there and if you read long enough you'll fear the end of the world. I'm sure somebody is going "see, I told ya"

Wow. That was scary. I felt that one. I am watching the news and that said that there hasnt been any big damages reported, which is good.

I was on the 7th floor of my office building in downtown Hollywood. Kinda rumbling, with the pipes overhead shaking. Nothing too bad though. I was waiting for it to go all Northridge-style.
