So when (if) the Whitecaps reach the MLS, would we have partake in the superdraft? or would we transplant our current roster into MLS.
How would it work, if we are trying to field a new team from a MLS draft, and Martin Nash's service was not needed? Would Steve Nash pull some strings?

I believe it is this simple:
1. Every player who is a Whitecap (under contract) would stay a Whitecap (if other MLS teams wanted those players, they should have signed them when we were USL-1). We would use them however we saw fit.
2. As an expansion team into MLS, we would participate in an expansion draft just like any other team.
A. Come 2011, I don't think it is very realistic for Nash to be in MLS. That is three seasons from now, and Nash would be a low-priority signing in the MLS right now as is.

I'm sure he'd be there as a substitute (ala Giggs, Ole-Gunnar) to have a "good-bye" season in 2011, as he's still a full-heart marking back.
