Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
Kickoff at 8:15 CET, 7:15 GMT, 2:15 ET.
Television: ATVO in USA, NOT in the UK

We have the honor of being the opponent against whom Stuttgart will rename their stadium from Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion to Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Three friendlies down, two wins and one draw, and coming off a 10-2 victory, the big names who have been in training are sure to feature in this match. We will also be reunited with Mad Jens, this time as a member of the opposition.

This should be quite an enjoyable match.

this one must be streamed, right? sure hope so. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the first teamers back in action. Adebayor, RVP, Nasri maybe even Rosicky? I'm watering at the mouth.

I'm psyched about this first op to see the internationals (all but Cesc?) this pre-season and that Jens will be in goal for Stuttgart. The youngsters have been playing some lovely ball the last two matches (v Barnet I was a bit nervous for a bit there with the score) and now it is time to see who among them can stick with the big boys.

I think Denilson is already part of the regular team - as is Vela for me. Ramsey and Wilshire are bang-on - along with maybe Barazite and Traore and maybe Simpson. I think they'll all be played in the Emirates Cup and if we win it maybe in Amsterdam. If we don't I think Mr. Wenger will want that tourney and plays all the big boys only....

I would to see more from Coquelin.

me too, against better competition.
he was the only guy getting "stuck in" in the match vs barnett.
probably saying to himself, "damn, i could possibly play on this team as there is a serious need for a DM."

I wonder if that fact that Coquelin wasn't played today an indication that that he is not being considered for the first team this year, no matter and that either we're going to sign a DM or promote from within....

Was wondering that myself. Not that I'm complaining. As spammers go, he's definitely among my faves right next to the guys that offer herbal viagra.
