I am trying to find an olympic tv schedule for ALL if not most of the matches being played at the 2008 olympics... I know Telemundo is showing a couple of games, but I also heard that MSNBC is planing on setting up special channels to air primarily soccermatches during the olympics is this true? I cant find much info on the web, so if someone could point me to a schedule that shows which channels are playing certain games that would be great!
The only info I could find was at:

Right blog, different post. :-)
I followed that one up with this one, with the entire soccer schedule on NBC and all its affiliates: http://www.worldcupblog.org/world-football/nbcs-olympic-soccer-schedule-on-tv-and-online.html
As far as the NBC Olympic Soccer Channel, the dedicated channel only for Olympic soccer, it's available if your cable provider chooses to carry it. I know Cox and Comcast have agreed, and a recent NBC article now says that "most" providers will carry it, but they don't list any other names. I've emailed them for clarification but haven't received a response. Your best bet at this point is to call your cable provider. (And be persistent, because the people manning the phones may give you bad info.)
Good luck! If you have any more questions I might be able to answer, stop by TheOffside.com or WorldCupBlog.org, or email me at laurie[at]theoffside[dot]com.

I wouldn't count on Comcast; their follow-through is questionable at this point.

You are so right about Comcast.
Here's the tale of my trying to find out whether or not Comcast is offering the Olympic Soccer Channel.
Original sources said that they were. NBC's current story is that "most" cable companies will be offering the service. Unfortunately they seem to have forgotten to contact the cable companies.
