Here we go. I have created a Sand League.
I am requesting that each manager PM so that I may distribute the password into the league (I will PM those of you that I can shortly). Also please PM a 4 digit number to determine draft order. We will follow the same procedures as Small Rocks. This is also the time to give any input pertaining to your availability for drafting. I will be unavailable for most of August 2nd but may be able to keep from holding things up. It would be great to find out time zones and conflicts that may come up.
More to come.

I have sent out PM's to everyone in Sand League (I hope). Let me know if you didn't get it. I want to be fair about choosing my own draft number so I have sent my number to Hal as quality assurance. Hal's original time frame was to submit numbers by Tuesday 7-29 and use Wednesday 7-30 PA lottery number to determine the order. See below: http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/
I would appreciate it if you would post here that you have joined and sent your draft number. That will help me to know I have reached everybody.

I signed up. My id on the fantasy site is Eddie5.
I live in Pittsburgh but will be in Philadelphia from August 6th - 13th. Then New York and Conneticut from Aug 13th - 17th. I don't know about my internet access while in NY and CT but I think by then the drafting will probably be done since the season starts that Saturday.

Good to have you both in. Just a reminder to PM me your 4-digit number. I recieved Eddie's. I am sending Eddie my number just to keep the draft selection process honest. Also wanted to say that I am a born and raised Pennsylvanian. Grew up outside of Philly, went to high school and college in the Pittsburgh area.

What is the 4 digit draft number????
I am unavailable from Aug 10 - 16 because of vacation and will be in the middle of nowhere with most likely no internet access. Will try my best to get online during this time.

I will take care of this stuff tonight -- at work right now
Remember, last year I had those problems with logins/passwords and they kicked me off the site. So I'm trying to figure out a surefire way around it.
Also, I'll volunteer to keep an updated roster for everyone on Google spreadsheets again this season.

I have three accounts. I remember that they did that to you so I read the rules. This year, the rules state that you can have one email address per account. Nothing about only one account person.

actually, the site says
----------------------------
In the interest of fair play, entries are strictly one team per person. However, this team may be entered in up to 10 private leagues.
Using different email addresses to enter multiple teams with either made-up names or the names of friends / family members and then managing the team yourself is not fair play and will result in your teams being deleted.

Of course, Eddie didn't mean what he said above. What he meant to say had he not been typing so fast is that he has a friend who has a friend who's always breaking rules and getting into trouble and that he heard, secondhand, from a guy who was probably drunk at the time and can't be trusted anyways, that this friend of a friend might possibly have three accounts, but he's not completely sure and may be confusing this with something else entirely. :)
Unfortunately, epikoinus has stated the site's rules. It would really be nice if they would make exceptions for leagues like ours, and allow you simply to use the site for a league like this without being eligible for awards, prizes, etc., since presumably that's the only reason that it's "unfair" to have multiple teams and that's not our objective. But, these are the rules, so proceed at your own risk, and do it cautiously so that you don't get booted out and have to rejoin.

OK, I'm in on the site.
Everyone just filled their team with whoever, right? Then we'll transfer them all out before the season, since it's free transfers until then, correct?
I'm not aware of any times I won't be able to draft. Depending on when we go, there might be a 3-4 hour window here and there when I won't be online, but no extended days/weeks type of stuff.

yeah, let me assure you that it sucks to get kicked off the PL site. last year, i took to logging in to check on one team only from home and the other only from work, because i think they kicked me off based on IP addresses.
