Thanks for posting! I enjoyed watching the press conference on the above website, which illustrates city council's and provincial government's support the MLS bid and also provides a good background on Steve Nash's involvement.

Question, What did I do at this site by putting my name and e-mail and address on the form? Is it a petition? Does Vancouver officials or Garber see how many names signed up? Just asking out of curiosity.

I think its part market research, part petition, part keeping the populous informed on updates regarding the bid or whom to forward your letters to now if the Don goes into hiding from all these bags of letters coming from Poste Canada Post by air mail/par avion.

Greetings from ye olde england. me and a few of the lads have decided to back your campaign to get vancouver in the MLS. theres 8 of us so it's fair to say Vancouver has an international fanbase now. anyway, we'll be checking on the whitecaps results regularly. good luck from your english cousins !!!

Cheers for the support! It's nice to hear there's Whitecaps supporters in England (or at least there are 8 of you guys now). I know there's tons of supporters for nearly every single premiership team (including Leeds) in Vancouver.

FYI: There's 2 other Vancouver Whitecaps boards (much more traffic than here) that I thought you may want to check out:

See if you can fly down to the Vancouver Cup Final tomorrow :p You may even still make it since the Vancouver time difference is 8 hours behind London LOL
