Hi,
I looked back through a few pages and I couldn't find one so here it is again :p...

I'll start off by saying that the Diadora Totti Carbon-Fibre shinpads...

Soccer.com has them for $139.99
Prodirect has them for $298.48 or £149.99

WTF IS UP WITH THAT!

What do you think about them?
I think the maximus are top boots and I might try the LX.

Ozzy,

yeah that sucks that those carbon fiber shinpads cost 100 more in England but I can't imagine payng 130 for shinpads, i think i pad 15 for the ones I wear now.

Can anyone who's had Diadoras tell me how they are quality and durability-wise?

I had the Totti's (RT...) they held up great, eventually they fell victim to the typical issues that boots have with new field turf and the pieces of rubber got wedged in between the upper and the sole plate, but all in all I was very happy with the boots

My diadora brasils just blew out today. They blew out on the outside of my right foot.

I was pissed. I had no other boots with me so i had to use them for another hour with my toes hanging out..

i just picked up the diadora carbonio shine pads today, by far the best shin pad out there, very pricey but the result you get from the pad is incredable.

Its simple why there is the big price difference. There not the same shinpad! The Totti one was specifically crafted for Tottis shin after his injury. The pair on soccer.com is the retail version of those. You could even call the Gamma Carbino a replica of the Totti shinpad.

I am wearing the Maracana right now, but I plan to get an LX Pro in a few months. I have tried on the regular LX and it seemed similar to the Maracana. I wear the Maracana in 10.5, wear shoes in an 11, and sneakers in an 11.5. I like my soccer boots to be pretty tight. For me at least, the kangaroo leather breaks in nicely and they fit like a glove.

Are the laces of maracana indoors just as long as the outdoor ones? the outdoor ones i've seen are way too long, and i don't know how i would tie the laces with all the extra. anyone want to enlighten me on lace length?

i find either cutting them and then melting the ends with a lighter works very well or u can just get new laces

I found the LX Pro to be massive. I wear a 10-10.5, but almost went down to a 9 for the LX Pro as they were HUGE!

I wore them twice and they busted out the outside where the Blue Diadora symbol joins the boot, at the point where the little toe joins the foot. They were good up until then though, but I paid $200 Aus for them, and won't be going back.
