I never seen him play, but I know a bunch of people who did see him play and say Lev Yashin (I think that's his name) is the best keeper ever.

But again I never seen him play, but among those I know that say Yashin was the best ever are guy that played for Torino in the early 70's and two guys who played for Communicaciones (I think that's how it is spelled, it the team from Guatemala) in the mid 70's through early 80's.

The OP at no point mentioned CONCACAF. He asked who the best ever was, so most (including myself) would assume the best ever in the World.

Hmm, o would say maybe Lev Yashin from the Soviet Union, he is widely regarded as the greatest keeper of all time.

Modern era i would say Oliver Kahn from Germany/Munich

There is a rumor Ochoa is linked to Everton to be TIM HOWARD'S BACK-UP :p

Seriously anyone that doesn't rate Tim Howard as the best GK currently in CONCACAF needs their head checked for retard viruses.

Just Google "Ochoa to Everton" there are tons of hits on it..all saying David Moyes is looking at Ochoa to be Howards back up and a potential long term replacement in the event Howard is sold to a bigger club in one of these next couple seasons.

Experience: Edwin van der Sar (pictured) will be able to oversee the development of Guillermo Ochoa
Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

Ochoa, who currently plays for Club America, is keen on a move to Old Trafford and would command a £7.5m transfer fee.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson sees Ochoa, 22, as an able replacement for veteran keeper Edwin van der Sar, who, at 37, is nearing the end of his playing career.
Ferguson already has Ben Foster, who impressed on loan at Watford last season, as back-up. However, Foster is currently suffering from a cruciate knee ligament problem, and United are badly in need of extra cover.
Ochoa, who has been nominated for France Football magazine's World Footballer of the Year Award, said: "There have been people scouting me and I have been approached and have had talks.
"They (Man Utd) are a great team and it is possible something will be done."
