A few reasons why I decided to start the new kit thread:

a) Last one was over 500 posts so was bound to close.
b) Dan came up with a great name.
c) Hit up NikeTown NYC after the gym and grabbed this beauty:

Fit like a glove and its comfortable as hell. The dry fit material seems softer this year. And yes....thats a fedora. I wear them. Sometimes. Deal.

Continue kit discussions here.... That's good news. I hardly wear my 07/08 kit anymore because it's so uncomfortable. The best material I've ever put on is a world cup Ecuador kit gifted to me and made by Marathon of all brands. It's like silk.

sucks kirby, i just dont like it man...
i am sure ill ignore it when the action rolls, but the sleeves just suck.

What time were you at Niketown yesterday? I was there right after lunch. The guy who runs the soccer section, Ben, is a Nott Forest supporter, jealous our gear is so prevelant! :) I told him the reason we wear red is the generosity of his club way way back in the day and he was quite pleased. Very nice, helpful guy.

As I said in thread VI, got my away and I love it. I didn't realize the new home shorts had the red claret stripe. Will get it. Wanted to get the thermal but it fits like a pair of long johns ought to fit beneath layers on a cold day.

No problem Kirby and DoctorK glad you got over there and picked them up. I was going to buy both but am still having a hard time deciding whether or not I want a name/number on the back.

Dang, that is a nice looking hat, but I assume it is one of the snap back adjustable ones. I really prefer the flex-fit style, but I may have to suck it up this time:

All those hats are FUGLY as shit. Why can't I just get a tan, blue or red flex cap with the fcuking crest on it? Is that so hard?

Cool, thanks. Those are definitely better, but what I really want is one of that hats that you can stuff into a bag or in your back pocket. They get crushed, but still look good on your head. You know, NOT the New Era style.
