Barra Brava 2nd Annual* Mini Golf Tournament August 13th 2008 at Top Golf
A Fundraiser for United for DC and the Barra Charitable Fund
Join DC United’s” Legendary 12th Man”—La Barra Brava—and United Players, Coaches and Staff for the 2nd Annual Mini-Golf tournament at Top Golf in Alexandria, VA. Fan foursomes will play with a United star, teams will get prizes and we’ll have a raffle featuring items from United as well as donations from Barra business partners and items from some of the generous Barra members with deep closets full of United stuff.
Cost to play is $15 for members and $20 for non members (this is per person). You can also join La Barra Brava at the event and get an on the spot discount (as well as a Barra jersey and other great Barra benefits).

I edited this post to reflect that the tournament will take place in 2008.
Apparently, first prize in the beauty pagent that follows is a round with Chico's putter. ;)

Kind of, the course is much nicer and a little bit harder. No clowns mouth or windmill to hit it thru. :D

This is a great event for a good cause, folks. The SEs sponsored a hole last time and will be doing so again.
I'd like to personally encourage our members to come to Top Golf and have a great time.

By the way, I'm extremely pleased and proud to announce that our two brother organizations--The Screaming Eagles and La Norte have both signed on the sponsor the Mini Golf event. I think it speaks volumes about how the entire fanbase feels about the important work United for DC does in the Community.

we have some great raffle prizes as well. including some really nice HD radios, united signed gear, a guided fly fishing trip, a case of beer, gift certificates, etc.

Just a heads up because I know a lot of you were on the road trip yesterday, but it might be worth making a second gmail account with the "l" in golf because Dave Johnson repeated the address as such a few different times over the course of the broadcast.
I know it might be a bit tedious and redundant but if it can help to reach some more people for this great cause it would be worth it.
