Which BTW, lists a bunch of non CONCACAF players and should therefore, let's say it's an official list (what makes it official anyway?), make Vela the top CONCACAF player in the team. That's good, but ultimately subjective. When you go ahead and claim the reasons why "they" aren't impressed, by YOU presenting a list of better players YOU think are better than Vela, then you prove absolutely nothing. Just provide your CONCACAF candidate, is it that hard?

We could say he's graduated along with Gio and others despite still being in the 19-20 range.

Lavolpe did not want to release two players called up to the U-20 qualifiers. So no.

Vela and Gio, are the most accomplished (U17 WC winners, both in EPL teams), and likely also the most talented of the CONCACAF U20's, or, those near U20 (I understand Vela just turned 20). Of the two, I'd say Vela is the most talented and, the one with the better footballing career ahead of him for one reason only, he's faster than Gio. Though, I suspect Gio will do well too.

On the Honduran side of things I can say, that the guys who have peaked my interest and, most everyone else's, whom have seen them play, are (in no particular order):

Reinieri Mayorquin (DM - Marathon, Honduras)
Cristian Martinez (FW - Penarol (I think?), Uruguay)
Johny Leveron (D - Honduras, forget team)
Alfredo Mejia (D - (D - Honduras, forget team)

To me the star of this group taking into account current form, is Mayorquin. He is quality. Also, I think Cristian Martinez will def. come through as well.
