83 000 at the game ! Quite amazing after missing out on CL. I think Barcelona is the only team in Europe with a bigger stadium now.

I was also impressed with the crowd turn-out.

it was 80.500, so nearly sold out.
in league matches it is indeed the fourth biggest stadium in europe but you have to consider that there are 27.000 terrace places. in european matches, when only seats are allowed, there are 67.000 seats available. that means it is number 18 in europe (only regarding stadiums that are used by a pro club, there are also stadiums like twickenham that have no regular league soccer)

You are very well aware with stadiums. Do you have a list with fully roofed (i.e. pitch, not only seats) stadiums? Arnheim, Gelsenkirchen and Cardiff are the only ones I remember right now in Europe; Düsseldorf and Frankfurt will follow IIRC

I know another 2, maybe there are more:
-AmsterdamArena/Amsterdam (http://www.amsterdamarena.nl/index.php?pointer=1-2-2131&flash=0)
-Parken/Copenhagen (http://www.parken.dk/site/page.asp?a=s&artid=577&cat_id=303&t=)
"It takes just 30 minutes to convert PARKEN – Denmark's national stadium – from a modern football stadium into one of the largest heated indoor arenas in Europe."

Thanks, I didn't know that these two are having a retractable roof.
