What don't you guys like about coaches

One of my problems with coaches is alot take their job to serious. for example
i went to a team try out, was easily one of the best if not the best player, during the practice match i basically ran the show involved in every move, lobbed the keeper from behind the half way line (the pitch wasnt proffesional size tho) anyway..The coach was a nob, he took his job too serious and said he was going to ''eaze'' me into the team  im like mate, your not wenger, i dont need to be eazed in. I already had great link up play in the practice match. this is a sunday and thurday team, i already play for a better team where i represent my borough. only reason im here is because the season is finished and i want to play during the summer. anway..so i turned up to the first match, i got the last 7 mins but was stuck as a defensive midfielder. thats another thing i hate about some coaches, im clearly a winger or playmaker. I always set players up, am fast and can go past players, but because i am pretty muscular whenever i turn up at a new team or play with ppl i don't know i end up being in defence untill i just say ******** it and go upfield. in defence i do an ok job. but then ppl just say oh hes alright- which annoys me, because i know i can show them i am good if i wasnt at the back.

right, back 2 the coach being wenger. second match i come on, in dm again, he keeps telling me to get back into position, its annoying. at the end i have words and tell him im not a defender, he says he knows but all attacking positions are taken but he'll give me a chance ''when the time is right'' what a nob head. i tell him we dont need a DM, we can play two cm's that track back when need be, in a jokingly way he says youv been here two weeks scored some flashy goals and now want to be the player/manager. i just laughed he said he would try and get me in the team. i said thanks and left. next training, we play a team vs b team practice, starters Vs subs. b team (my team) won. so next game i come on at half time and then get subbed off by some prick who's shit. that was it, i just want to play football man ******** being some fringe player. i just left that team

another thing i don't like about coaches isnot being realistic.if you go somewhere and they know you are better than the person starting ahead of you. they will still leave him in because ''its not fair''
how is that tru ? its not fair that his abilities are inferior to mine ?

other players - in 5 a side i hate ppl that r shit, but wont go in goal

lol u know what i hate?
I play with these 30+ some 40+ (some really good players and most really ************), some of them just bitch thru out the whole game. Everything they do is "right" and everything I do is "wrong", I hate those type of players. I never talk on the field, i just play and prove my game. Some of them just complains about everything and they suck... I tell them to shut up but they never really do... it's sad... then I just go on and play and usually score a couple goals.

I also hate players who trash talk in a soccer game... trash talking is so basketball or american football. Trash talking in the beautiful game is pretty out of place to me... whats the point of trash talking? just play and "trash talk" with your skills instead.

oh well enough complaining~

Right, this should be fun.

The coach was a nob, he took his job too serious and said he was going to ''eaze'' me into the team  im like mate, your not wenger, i dont need to be eazed in.

It's his team. He doesn't want to just throw new people in and upset the flow of the team. That doesn't make him a "nob".

I already had great link up play in the practice match. this is a sunday and thurday team, i already play for a better team where i represent my borough. only reason im here is because the season is finished and i want to play during the summer.

If you're only there for the summer, why are you getting so agitated about it?

anway..so i turned up to the first match, i got the last 7 mins but was stuck as a defensive midfielder. thats another thing i hate about some coaches, im clearly a winger or playmaker.

It's up to the coach to decide where you play. Just because you think you're "clearly" better elsewhere, you're not going to do a job for the team by playing out of position? Great team player you are.

Right, but you should just think to yourself you're doing a job. You shouldn't be playing to get "noticed" by people, you should be playing to win games and if you're going to win the game playing at DM as opposed to losing with you where you want to play, what are you going to pick? Oh wait, should I answer that?

right, back 2 the coach being wenger. second match i come on, in dm again, he keeps telling me to get back into position, its annoying.

Because he told you to play somewhere and you're not doing it. You think he's not going to say anything? Are you stupid?

at the end i have words and tell him im not a defender, he says he knows but all attacking positions are taken but he'll give me a chance ''when the time is right'' what a nob head.

How does that make him a "nob head"? He actually gave you an answer, half the coaches I have worked under would have told you to ******** off already. He said you will get a chance too, whats the problem?

i tell him we dont need a DM, we can play two cm's that track back when need be, in a jokingly way he says youv been here two weeks scored some flashy goals and now want to be the player/manager. i just laughed he said he would try and get me in the team. i said thanks and left.

That says it all.

next training, we play a team vs b team practice, starters Vs subs. b team (my team) won. so next game i come on at half time and then get subbed off by some prick who's shit. that was it, i just want to play football man ******** being some fringe player. i just left that team

That says it all about YOU. The going got tough, and you quit. It doesn't matter who came on for you, the fact it you got subbed and you should ask yourself why you got dragged off. Fact is your head is so far up your own ass that you don't realise that there MAY be a problem with your game that prevented you getting in the team and you aren't acknowledging it. There's always something wrong with everyone else except you. "the manager's a knob" "he's shit" "that prick's crap". Notice that?

another thing i don't like about coaches isnot being realistic.if you go somewhere and they know you are better than the person starting ahead of you. they will still leave him in because ''its not fair''
how is that tru ? its not fair that his abilities are inferior to mine ?

No, it's "not fair" that they aren't given a fair chance to keep their place in the side. If you replaced a player every time they had a shit game you'd get through 400 players a season.

Sound like you have a lot of respect for the GK position and the people who play it--since it's for "ppl that r shit" and all.

Get over yourself. I'm sure you're a fine player, but your attitude is going to sabotage your chances.

yea i think we all have to deal with those players at one time or another. I had a player at the same postion who did the same exact thing. He was a good player but not as good as he thought he was. He was the type of player who never mad a mistake and when he would make a bad pass instead of gettin back on defense to recover he would stand around and yell at kids for not gettin in the right spot for his pass. Always negative with everything too. I'm just happy i dont have to deal with him anymore, although i do know im gonna have to deal with that type for the rest of my life.

The worst thing about coaches is when i go to my cousins matches (under 9) there always shouting at little kids if they lose or do something wrong.
This is the reason that the fa has banned under 8 leagues because the coaches AND parents were taking it to seriosly and doing the same as above^^^^

I hate players who a screaming at you to do something and they arent/cant do it them self.
For example We were having trial matches and this person was being all cocky and not passing, swearing, shooting from anywhere (i think this is the most annoying of all) ect. in training but in the matches he was playing in defensive midfield behind me at attacking midfield. it was the most running i have ever had to do in one match because he was sprinting forward more than me but just walking back when the other team is on attack and shouting at me to get back.
he got took off at half time and i was played there because we had some people on holiday. Our manager even The other teams manager praised me at the end of the match but this player said he could of done better if he was 'a retarded cow with no ****ing back legs'
he didn't get on our team and yesterday we beat his team 7-0 (i scored 3) and he only came on for the last 25 mins so that showed him.

other players - in 5 a side i hate ppl that r shit, but wont go in goalItīs cultural, English and German coaches are pricks. I have friends that play in the Conference and played in League 2, and several were dropped from their teams because of interrupting the coach during one of his rants, or their ĻattitudesĻ(I wonder who had the real attitude.)

I hate players who try to make every offside call for the referee. Granted most of the time my league doesn't have ARs but it sucks when your central defenders just stop and put their arms up because they think someone is offside and I have to try and chase them down from 20 yards out of position because somebody kept them onside.

Professionally, never. In youth soccer, it happens all the time. Loud reactions from the sidelines is usually the culprit, though.
