My boy Anthony "Rumble" Johnson is the man, that was a bulsh1t call tonight. Burns was warned on 4 different occasions and should have been dq'd, I have no idea what fight the judges were watching..its a good thing AJ is pure class..I would of been pissed off if I were in his shoes. It's all good though, he's a young one, 24, he'll be back and win the WW title one day.

AJ= the anti-Melvin Guillard.
He is a true MARTIAL ARTIST.

I thought the ref awarded the TKO:confused:
AJ showed tremendous class at the end of the fight. Pleasure of watching him RUMBLE:D

If anything Burns should have been DQ. But the MMA world is a topsy turvy world.

Remember that Randy Couture lost his belt in UFC 46, when Vitor Belfort stuck him in the eye. Those guyz made up & fought again later. Hopefully these two will do the same.

Burns was awarded the TKO because from the ref's angle he couldn't see the poke and thought it was a hit that knocked AJ down.
It sucks that it was incorrect but sometimes crap like that happens.
AJ is a class guy and said he knows it wasn't intentional as is Burns who says the same thing and the reason it happened is because he's broken that hand 3 times and can only use open palm strikes with it now. I'm sure they'll fight again.

It's a horrible call, but the ref can only call what he sees.
I'm sure that this result won't hurt AJ in the slightest and he will be given every opportunity to keep going in the UFC, most likely starting with a rematch as soon as he's able to go.
