any more news on Umit?

I watched this game on replay. Wow it was pretty intense when Umit collapsed, players in absolute shock and tears could be seen in Daum and Mondragon's eyes. I hope everything will be ok with him.
Aside from that congrats to Koeln for getting their first win, I do hope they won't be relegated come end of the season.

Ümit is back home from the hospital and is said to be on the up and up.
No diagnostic findings by the doctors, which might be a good sign; they think Ümit didn't eat and drink enough before the match and then suffered a circulatory collapse.
One can only hope that this is the right explanation, but I'd say he should be checked again and again so as to make sure nothing has been overlooked.

It's good to know Ozat is better now, I wish him the best and I hope this was just a case of not enough food and drink rather than a medical issue that could permanently end his career. Good luck!
Also, congrats on beating KSC 2-0 last night. :)

It does look shocking, I haven't seen anything about the incident yet but what was on the news.
I am soo glad Ümit is well again.
US Boy Michael Bradley is about to sign for Gladbach. Think he would have been a good addition for us as well - nevertheless congrats to our rival for such a signing.

True, it's also on the FC homepage now. Allegedly a free one-year loan deal with an option to sign the player afterwards. Meier said that they want to have a close look at the player over a long period.

I am working as a temp/office slave in the semester break,
nothing interesting mostly file work and such.
But guess who`s file was on my desk today.
Faryd Mondragons
Now I have finally his address and can stalk him
:D jk
Ok I admit it, it is not really spectacular but hey in my job I take any form of excitement I can get. And still it did show how small the world is. And since I was alone amongst Düsseldorfers :( I couldn`t even share this with anyone.

Nope, but some of my family from New Orleans is up here in Northern Alabama.
Hopefully they can go home in a couple of days.

Do they really pay so badly in Cologne these days? :-)
Hopefully they can go home in a couple of days.
;)
Let's hope the best.
It's really depressing to see this beautiful city and its inhabitants being in such a trouble lately. :(
