 Daum has suspended Antar. (only for the Bochum game)
It looks like Daum wasn`t happy with the casual nonchalant way Antar trained this week

WHOA!!!
That usually leads to being shown the door. Any guys shining in the 2B who we could shift Antar for?

thats a good question.
Wome`and Petit are also goin to miss the game.
Mckenna is going to take over Brecko`s spot and Brecko will play in Wome`s poition.
Matip is propably going to play for Petit.
So I would guess a midfield lineup like
Vuci - Pezzoni - Matip - Ehret
Who else do we have left?
Maybe we will see Yalcin for a couple of minutes

Antar must be extremly frustrated. I'm not defending his lazyness in training at all, but my guess is that he's very disappointed with his own performances this year.

Crap officiating towards the end but tremendous fighting spirit shown by the boys and a great way to go into the winter break.

That ref was on crack. No way Geromel's was worthy of a second yellow, I'm not sure it was a foul.
Novagol's was just ridiculous, push from the back, obvious foul on the defender, should have been a penalty, no - you send him off for simulation.
Can we appeal these crap calls?
Or should I ask- can we win an appeal against these crap calls?

I can't remember cards ever being rescinded in the Bundesliga no matter how bad the ref's call is.
Then again, I think I do remember it happening once, but I also believe it was for Bayern......

You are right of course. I was just wondering how his behaviour could be explained, and that was my guess. He didn't act logically, so he might have reached the point of fatalism.
Great result today. :)

Well that's totally and completely different.
Nevermind ;)
[remember Emily Littella from SNL]

Hey Eddie, just out of interest: What made you choose Westham as one of your favourite teams? Second question: Will you put me on your ignore list if I state Tottenham as one of my favs? ;)

West Ham - back in the early days of the internet, long before you were born. I found two ISFA mailing lists - Arsenal and West Ham. I asked both mailing lists how they rated Yank GK, Kasey Keller. The Arse were rude from start to finish, the Hammers "he's good", "I rate him highly" "wish he was ours".
Done. Over. New team. Its been at least 13 years, maybe more.
Spurs - I have several friends who are Spurs fans, I hold no grudge. We all make mistakes in life.
;)
PS- I only have one person on my ignore list - from the Yanks Abroad forum.

The latest on Poldi: He could fancy returning to the FC, but on condition that the sporting prospects of the club are convincing and the money to realize the transfer is available. He added that other clubs are interesting options for him. Only a move abroad seems to be out of the question.
Michael Meier says that he understands Lukas' preference to be a return to Köln, while Karl-Heinz Rummenigge accuses the FC of playing a strange game: Turning Poldi's head but then not making a serious offer. If he really wanted to sign a player, he wouldn't jeopardize the transfer by holding back two or three millions. "They [Köln] want him, but only on their terms."

Enough of that. I don't know what to think anymore about the whole Poldi issue, it's starting to annoy me. I hope this endless story is sorted out one way or the other in the winter break. I also hope that we don't lose all our credibility in the process.

Dude, I'm already to the point that I wish Meier would STFU about it and that it either gets done or gets pushed by the wayside........

Yes, Merry Christmas to everyone.
If Poldi comes, great - if not, we move on. I just want some depth. I want to see Boateng and another defender.
