Official odds? No clue. I think the real challenge for 1860 is having consistency the whole season. In the last several seasons we have either had an awesome vorrunder and then a shiite rueckrunde, or vice-versa. The main issues has been injuries to key positions. Last December we lost 5 of our key starters and had to put kids on the field who 12 months earlier we either on the U19 squad or just made the Amatueren. Hell of a way to welcome them to 2.BL ball, huh?

Mid-table? We were damn near relegation.:D

Many would. I think they key this year is depth in scoring, depth in key positions, not bleeding points at home. Arroganz Arena has been a horrible home advantage. We suck there....better on the road the last few years.

1860 is reporting that Hoffenheim is interested in Timo. Reuter has emphatically stated that he is under contract and will play it out through 2010. Hopefully he will do so and increase his asking price. :D

I'm going to recommend Stuart Holden to 1860. He's more of a winger than Wolff is/was and would be damn cheap.
There is it, my good deed for the day.

Wow...think he would head back to Europe after getting punked (http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sky-News-Archive/Article/200828513315084) by some Newcastle fan? And the police don't think it was motivated by the rivalry? Puuuuleeez

Wait, you know people in 1860 management that you can actually recommend players to?

would you recommend selling some 1860's better players to Freiburg? :D

I went to Freiburg about a year ago. Saw them beat Koblenz, well saw about 85 mins and then we left to beat the crowd. Long story, but Koblenz equalized, then Freiburg scored even later.
We beat the traffic, till we hit the A5 near Basel and it was a massive traffic jam.

That is why you NEVER leave a game early. God was punishing you. You sit, you enjoy, you drink afterwards, THEN you pour yourself in a car and drive home. :D
BTW, stopped west of Birmingham and ate at the Golden Rule BBQ (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&lr=lang_en%7Clang_de&safe=active&ie=UTF8&q=golden+rule+bbq+and&near=Birmingham,+AL&fb=1&view=map&cd=1&ll=33.351681,-86.868725&spn=0.04696,0.053473&t=k&z=14&iwloc=H) on the way back to TX....good eats in a nice area. Almost bought a house there.:D

or in Freiburg you get on Strassebahn #1 and enjoy the victory while cruising along the Dreisam past Brauerei Ganter back to town.

to get back to 1860 the only time I have seen the Löwen live was on December 4, 1999 when Schroth, Zelic and Borimirov scored to beat Stuttgart for a 3-1 Auswärtssieg. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/spielpaarungsbericht/object/503164/saison/1999-00/naviindex/1
