According to two trusted sources, Argentine right-side midfielder Emiliano Diaz, 25, will begin a trial with DCU in the near future. Diaz played at San Lorenzo for his father, former Argentine World Cup striker Ramon Angel Diaz, who coached River Plate for many years and is now in charge of Club America in Mexico.

I know nothing about him and already want him to get playing time before Rod Dyachenko.

If that doesn't describe where we're at not sure what does.

Who do you think is less popular with the fans?
Dyachenko or Wells?
My personal vote is for Dyachenko. At least Wells does what he's supposed to some of the time.

Moron. ESPNsoccernet clearly has this:
Height 567' 7" (173.00m)
That was copy and pasted. I doubt ESPN would ever be incorrect about something relating to soccer. Therefore, DC has someone on trial who is approximately two football fields tall. Where's Josh Gros crossing the ball when you need him?

Yet...only 157 pounds, this guy can't be more than 1 inch in diameter.

Hell, at that size he'd be our new goalie.

No way, he could never get down for low shots at that height. I'd make him play striker from the back line.

We need to call him Lucio Emiliano Diaz Arce to keep things simple.
I have no idea whether he's better than Dyachenko or the son of Pele. It would be nice if we heard from anyone who actually saw him play at San Lorenzo.

I guarantee he'll have a hard time adjusting to the physicality of MLS. His dives will result in red cards when he falls on 6 players.

I actually have it on good authority that he's being brought to the trial in large part because of his ability to instantly check the banks of lights at RFK the next time they go out.

Get down? I'd have him sit indian style on his ass in front of goal. He'd block the entire frame with that size.
