Wow, that was fast.
Ugh, we're linked with too many people that I don't' think that I will be shocked by the next person we signed. After all, we got Deco, and when you see that you must've seen everything..
Is it really that hard to go with the obvious options? We don't' need an overhaul. some improvements. We don't need Kaka and Deco to improve what is our best asset, we need to work on the weaker things.
Aggggh :D

Frank doesn't need to come out and say a word. He is doing the right thing by keeping his mouth shut rather than adding to the already ongoing-with-enough-participants drama a-la-Cristian Ronaldo style!

I'm going to restrain myself and not post in the transfer thread this time around.

ronaldo has'nt openly and publicly discussed his intentions either.
thats the most common issue in both cases.

True...other than a few comments about Real that were taken way out of context by the media, he has not made any statements public.
This is why Lampard needs to continue to not say a word. I am sure he knows the fans want to know...but as soon as he opens his mouth, the media are going to over do it and rip him to pieces, no matter what his intention is!

Fuel to Fire :
Well, Cronaldo 'says'
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3802815,00.html Cristiano Ronaldo says there is no agreement to join Real Madrid . . .Reports have also suggested that the 23-year-old has agreed personal terms with Real, something Ronaldo has denied.

while the media are a pack of rabid animals, theres also nothing they like better than supporting the under dog or the mass opinion of the audiance.
speaking his mind could easily find him favourable support in the eyes of the press, most of them consider chelsea to be the evil thats rotting the soul out of english football anyway.
any positvie or negitive press he'd get would entirely depend on what he said and how he came across saying it.

I think the main reason Frank is keeping quiet, is because he doesn't want to come across as a greedy bastard.

Apparently Inter are fed up with Porto over the signing of Quaresma. I think Chelsea's chances may have improved. I know, alot of you don't like him too much. I don't have a link or anything, just something I heard on the TV.

His agent is doing a fine job for the both of them.

We had gotten so far without a Q sighting :( Inter has Mancini now I think Q may have been a smokescreen to flush out Mancini but as is obligatory:

Yeah, good luck on getting almost 4.5 million people to donate. The population of Marseille isn't even 2 million. Dummies.

Thing is, Marseille is considered France's most supported clubs, they have loads of fans outside of their region as well I believe. It doesn't have to be limited to the city at all.

Disagree there, but wow what a deadhorse that has been beaten all day.
I dont see why people get so polarized in these negotiations, no one has any real idea what is happenng, and believing otherwise is insane.
These "credible sources" seem to change their stories every week when they are found to be wrong.
I also dont see how someone is so anti-Lampard in this. He deserves top money, long term, and has always been classy for us. While the powers that be have become shadier and sketchier every season in their handlings of managers and players.
To each his own, Ill save my final decision on right or wrong when it all plays out.

Inter have opted for Mancini. Q has potential I think.
