Hey All
I am feverishly working on a Twin Cities Bus Trip To World Cup Qualifying in Chicago on Wednesday September 10th. (No overnight stay. Depart midmorning – 9:30ish, attend game and bus back, arriving in the early morning hours - 5:30ish)
But before it becomes official I would like to get an idea of how many people are interested.
Right now we have capacity for 55.
Approximate cost is $105 per person. I don’t see this changing, but anything could happen. The price will be locked down solid by the time I start selling spots.
Game details:
USA v Trinidad & Tobago
Wednesday September 10, 2008
Toyota Park
Bridgeview IL
7pm kick off
Package Includes:
-Game ticket in the official supporters section at the north end of the stadium.
-Round trip coach bus transport.
-Red, game specific, T-shirt. (specify size, S, M, L, XL, XXL, when ordering package)
Please let me know ASAP if you and others are interested.
Thanks

i'll be there but i'm local so i'm not in need of transportation. would like to know, however, if the shirts being printed up can be purchased anywhere seperately?
by the way, love the site, bruce. it's a must read.

very cool, i'll be roaming the parking lot that day drinking in the atmosphere (literally) and will be on the lookout for your group. it's going to a hell of party i think...just wish it were on a fri night instead.

Hi all
This bus trip isn't looking good right now.
As of Monday morning, July 14, we have approx 27 people signed up.
I need to order tickets and put the deposit on the bus by Thursday the 17th.
That means we don't have nearly enough people to book this trip (55 person capacity).
I am going to look into a smaller bus, but that could increase the price per person quite a bit.
So...... those who want to go need to tell everyone they know to commit now, or forever hold their peace.
If you have already committed I thank you, but as that you help push this trip.
Thanks,
Bruce

You guys should try Megabus if your coach bus falls through...right now seats are only $10 each way. I've taken it a few times out of Chicago and the busses are really nice and clean. The return would be cutting it close (games would end at 9pm), but you could cab it back to Union Station in less than 30 minutes.

7:00 AM Depart Minneapolis, North 3rd Ave by 4th St Parking
Arrive Chicago, Union Station 2:45 PM

Hi all
Things have improved for the bus trip.
I booked a smaller bus, but the price per person went up slightly.
It is now $116.
We have 29 booked as of right now, but if we get more than 40 we will all get a few bucks back.
Hows that sound?
Are you in?
I am purchasing the game tickets on Friday so we will be all set there.
Drop me a line asap if you want in.
I will have details in a few days as to how you pay etc.
Now we all need to find a few more people to join us. Please send em my way.
Thanks,
Bruce
