it's the only tournament they haven't won, they had a better team in 1996 but we all know what happened. :D:D:D:

It will be very difficult since we will only start training on July 22, and most of these players will play together for the first time.

They better be serious- Argentina's team is no joke...and they have a great history in the competition building off their great youth teams. Argentina is sick for a olympic team: Messi, Aguero, Riquelme, Macherano, Gago, Burdisso...

Diego and Rafinha have been denied permission by their clubs to participate in the Olympics.

No doubt.
And while of course surprises are pretty common at this competition, it's interesting (and perhaps unfortunate) that if both Brazil and Argentina win their respective groups and quarterfinals, they would play each other in the semis, not the final.

I think Dunga's job will be on the line if he fails to manage respectable results.

The problem for Dunga is that "respectable" is Brazilian for "making the finals"... :D

Wrong.
For Brazil, and especially since we've never won gold and also because Dunga has had piss-poor results, "respectable" = "gold medal."
