Transfer fee under 3 mio €, looks like a very good deal.

less than the ~10m for Jansen

We got about € 12 million for Jansen ... and about € 18 million transfer revenue after the relegation. Nearby we've had solid finances for years (despite the lack of tv money from international games)...

Thanks for the clips UWE, so is this bradley fella coming to GLADBACH..not a huge fan of him/nor american footballers in general...but if he gots what it takes and his not expensive...whynot, I sure hope CZ knows whats his doing all i have to say about the bradley transfer....so Hannover ( brings back memories..of when FORSSEL used to play for gladbach..and scored so many crucial goals for us...i wish we could have bought him back then..but he was just out of our price range) looses to stuttgart and they are up against gladbach..this is the perfect situation for us in terms of an away game..one of the weaker teams in the league..but then again..i hope we wouldnt lose drive and composer and take them lightly ....man the entire squad played so compact and in in sync yesterday..and after god knows how many years..i got to see a gladbach game..live on a TV screen in HD:D

Michael Bradley has agreed to terms with Borussia Monchengladbach after the German club agreed to a transfer with Dutch club Heerenveen on Saturday, New York-based agent Ron Waxman confirmed with SBI this morning. Bradley and Monchengladbach agreed to terms on Sunday morning. The amount of the transfer has not been disclosed.

Bradley had been linked to a variety of European clubs, including Hamburg, Middlesbrough, Newcastle and AS Monaco, but Monchengladbach swooped in with a late move for the 21-year-old central midfielder.

Bradley leaves Heerenveen after two seasons following a $100,000 transfer from the New York Red Bulls following the 2005 MLS season. According to sources with knowledge of that transfer, MLS is due to receive twenty percent of the fee Heerenveen received from Monchengladbah. That also means the Red Bulls are due to receive a portion of that transfer fee.

Bradley joins the newly-promoted Bundesliga squad that features Canadian striker Rob Friend, who was Bradley's teammate at Heerenveen during the 2006-2007 season.

He won't be the first American to ply his trade at Monchengladbach. Long-time U.S. national team goalkeeper Kasey Keller spent two seasons with the club, serving as captain in the 2006/2007 season.

It's poll time.

Baumjohan MVP of the day in the League.

He surely played very well and scored a superb goal ... but I think that Alberman & Matmour were even better!

Here's the "kicker" rating (still waiting for that from "Torfabrik"):

Heimeroth (2) - Callsen-Bracker (3), Brouwers (3), Daems (2,5) - Alberman (1,5) - M. Ndjeng (3), Paauwe (2,5) - Baumjohann (1) - Matmour (2), Marin (2), Friend (3)

And my own rating:

Heime: 2.5 (due to his mistake that could have led to a goal)
JICB: 2.5
Brouwers: 3
Daems: 2.5
Alberman: 1.5
Ndjeng: 2.5
Pauuwe: 2.5
Baumi: 2
Matmour: 2
Marin: 2.5 (great 1st half, but mediocre 2nd half)
Friend: 2.5

Yes Alberman was the best player but Baumi more important. 1 Goal and 2 save at the linie. Matmour was also good but not better.:o

I don't think it's relevant to clear balls from the line, if it's your job to stand there. Even I could do that.

Then you badly have to take a flight to Düsseldorf or Cologne in order to watch a game at Borussia-Park (the stadium fanshop is opened on Saturday matchdays, too) ;) ... or you make use of the online fanshop (http://www.borussia.de/en/shop,118219,0.html).

Hmmm, I fear that's a "mission impossible". :-)

At least there's still 3 Puma/Erdgas jerseys available on Ebay:
