One of those games...that reminds u how much it sucks to live in canada when your trying to catch up with the bundesliga!
Anyway...hope we stop the slide ,one win can shake off many things..and bring back some sense to our squad...so funny though in most forums you read all these predictions and nowbody has given us a chance..oh well who cares!
I like to see bremen escorted out of BORUSSIA PARK with 3 goals:rolleyes:

What a brilliant first half with 2 great goals! :) Absolutely deserved lead, now let's hope we can keep up this performance after the interval.
PS: Marin's passes and Alberman's perfect tacklings are a joy to watch! ;)

Jesus Christ, what a thrilling finish after the 3:0 ... but hey, WE GOT THE VITAL 3 POINTS!!! :) Congrats to the team, what a great sunny Saturday afternoon (I'm off to the Biergarten soon - of course wearing a Gladbach t-shirt:-)!
Well, we came under big pressure after the interval (Heimeroth was superb, except for 1 mistake) ... nevertheless, we had great counter-attack opportunities (Alberman, Baumjohann, Friend, Matmour)! Sensational goal from Baumi, it should be the "goal of the month" in my eyes!
Jungs, wir sind stolz auf euch!!!
Here's 2 match reports with stats:

Have a nice day.
PS: Alberman (pity he couldn't score after that great solo) & Matmour are "men of the match" for me.

BREMEN OUT-CLASSED &SCHOOLED BY GLADBACH!!!!
To my surprise thee game was broadcasted live on GOLTV and i saw the entire schooling of bremen in every part of the field..by the FOALS!
I cant pick a single player today,we all performed as a well organized unit...if this squad matures and they can keep up this kindda performance...in the enxt few years we would be on top of the bundesliga!
Boy o boy and talk about Marin,matmour..baumjohann! I hope we can hold on to marko long enough and not hand him over to a rich club as always!
Am not very happy with the end result, its all about finishing it...and we kindda got very sloppy in the end...but up to the last 15 minutes.....gladbach played classic text-book deadly football...which always is the key to success,i loved how we could open up the flanks and at the same time throw deep balls so many times during the game..into the heart of bremen..BTW "frings" is an 'ASS-HOLE" and couldnt handle how marin punished him the entire night..and had to foul on him so many times...what a loser specially when they are also mates on the national team! i wasent happy with the subs either..we kindda lost power instead of gaining control on the game

Keep calm, my friend. ;) But the first half really gives hope for the future.

Have a nice Saturday, Naz! I'm off to meet a few friends in a Biergarten now.
Before I leave, let's enjoy a song. :-)))

Am very calm UWE,but really if this squad can play the same simple football..and back to the basics, and practice it in order to perform like this more than certain occasions..we can get back in the top bundesliga level within a couple of years...key is to keep this young squad..and give them more and more expousre, today was smooth solid simple football..and even up to the last 15 minutes it was! nyway thanks for the song and have a good weekend..and ease off on the beer my friend:D

Congrats on a very impressive win and performance. Quite amazing how this performance compares to the one against Stuttgart, like night and day. I knew you guys had it in you to play like this. Some great young talents on the team too.

Michael Bradley op weg naar Duitsland.
31 augustus 2008

Why do you think so ?
Borussia ist a healthy club. Last year profit about $ 10 Mio after tax.

Do you think so? ;) Well, it seems that he was either exhausted or injured (hopefully not). Nearby the 2 Bremen goals were scored from set pieces.
Congrats on a very impressive win and performance.
Thanx.

You surely mean the Hoffenheim game. Stuttgart wasn't that bad (except for the 3 first half mistakes that led to the 0:3 lag), I think...

Nothing against Borussia, I just remembered GolTV always likes to sell viewers an "American connection" in their coverage. Bradley certainly is a stronger connection than talking about Klinsmann's scout.
As for last year's profit, we both know that is the money from the Jansen transfer to Munich, don't we?;)

No, it's not only the Jansen millions.

No, it's not only the Jansen millions.
Actually, the press says the profit was 6.88m Euros only, so less than the ~10m for Jansen, but no one would blame the club for making a loss in the year after relegation anyway.
