What a bizzare game! clearly we have lost confidence and we look very shell-shocked...too many mistakes with our passing game, and our mid-field also was very weak and basically no game plan was orchestrated from the center..too much pressure on the flanks which i dont uderstand why! i expected hamburg to press more as well and totally come out today on fire..but they could have been beaten today,oh well from here on who knows whats going to happen...seems like we are also getting a good dose of bad luck up front with scoring and our strikers as well!

Thnx uwe again for the live stream and have a good weekend:rolleyes:

Damn, why do we always concede such silly goals (another "assist" from our players - this time from Pauuwe) and can't score from best chances (Marin, Friend)? :(

This HSV was so bad we should have taken at least 1 point! Unfortunately we played too defensively until Marin came in. The defence clearly improved, but we were simply too harmless in attack once again! Bringing Neuville just 5 minutes before the end, is a joke...

PS: The game was so bad that even the live-stream abandoned its work between min. 70 and 80...

That's true, but fortunately we played the worst opponent of this Bundesliga season so far.

I think you should fire the coach soon even if it's not his fault because you somehow need to improve or otherwise it's unfortunately totally predictable how this will end.

who knows whats going to happen...

We'll see...

The pressure on Jos will surely increase after today's defensive tactics (at least we didn't lack fighting spirit this time) ... so the derby against Cologne might be his last chance. This development is depressing, since I always backed him and still think he's a good manager ... unfortunately, his "rotation tactics" got pretty weird lately, so it seems that the guys lost their confidence. I think we've seen against Bremen that the team has some quality...

Thnx uwe again for the live stream and have a good weekend:rolleyes:

Wish you a nice weekend, too. Tomorrow night, we'll definitely take spot 18 in the table, so it's hard to enjoy this weekend from a sportive perspective.

Hamburgs goal was really a disgrace, tough to explain how many times the same situation has happened to us and we still cant fix it!
I believe rosler should get more play time,he is a hard working player specially for our mid-field..am also not sure why touma is not getting play time??that guy is an all-round player with good speed and technique ...still too early to panic but at the same time seems like we cant shake - off the reason/reasons for our sub-standard performance...am not even sure if changing JL would bring any answers to the table!

I don't have any idea why he doesn't get his chance (especially, since he's fit again). I think he can't be worse than Coulibaly & Ndjeng...

And why did he start Daems in the midfield instead of Bradley? Why did Baumjohann (who was one of our best players lately) have to sit on the bench against Hertha and wasn't even among the 18 players who made the trip to Hamburg? Why don't players like Colautti & Kleine get a fair chance? Why did he bring Neuville just 5 minutes before the end of the game today?

Somehow, I don't understand Jos anymore. Of course it's not his fault that the defenders always make such decisive mistakes and the strikers miss best opportunities ... however, it seems that his "total rotation" might have confused the guys.

I don't know what's going to happen now. Let's wait up a statement from Christian Ziege (who actually has a good relationship with Jos).

It's unfortunate that Borussia has gotten off to such a poor start, how has Alberman been playing? I guess Roberto is still injured? or is he out of favor with the trainer?

I wonder how long Luhukay can survive with results like these. Awful start for you guys. I have always had a soft spot for Mönchengladbach, for various reasons, and really would like to see you stay up.

Köln managed a comeback against Schalke yesterday, they had a rather bad start also. If you don't get a result against your arch rivals at home next week, I really can't see Luhukay remaining in charge, probably the first coach to get sacked this season.

I agree, our meeting with Koln might very well be JL's "make or break" as far as remaining our coach!
Sad thing we have some good depth on our subs bench,am not sure how and why he selects the players he does on a regular basis..while we have some quality players which never get utilized! We sure can have more fire-power and creativity if some of our other players also get into the mix..but who knows what other details and factors are involved inside the club and training sessions,we just see the surface..but surely he has been weak with his tactics and subs from a viewers stand-point!

Alberman played quite well in the first games, though the team had a very poor start. According to a German phrase, "he is the one-eyed among the blind". Kicker magazine ranks him second best among Gladbachs field players. Roberto ist fit again, but he lacks practice. Luhukay's only aim in the last game was a goalless draw, so he decided to leave him at home and play with a single striker.

how has Alberman been playing?

Take a look at the player ratings in this thread. He had a great game against Bremen, but couldn't keep this level when Patrick Pauuwe was absent due to injury.

I guess Roberto is still injured?

He's fit again.

Improvement not rewarded

Borussia lost 1-0 again in Hamburg. After going behind to an early Mladen Petric goal Borussia rallied in the closing stages, but despite creating some good chances it was to prove too late.

Both touma and colautti should play, regardless of lack of practice..its always better to deffend..with attacking tactics and at least score first and protect it after....so dumb to come into a game with hopes of a draw..then u go home with a lost game..both those guys can help with our attacking game in the mid-field and up front....at this point it is really shooting yourself in the knee by just trying to protect your goal..and hope for a draw..or some stupid counter attack that may result in a goall! rosler should get involved as well..his a warrior!

A dream comes true

The joint bid by Borussia and the City of Mönchengladbach was successful - the BORUSSIA PARK is one of the venues for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany.

The Rhein-Derby against Cologne is moving closer & closer ... and it's pretty obvious that it will have more "explosiveness" than many other derbies before!

Team & manager are under big pressure (only a win will probably save Jos Luhukay's job in Gladbach) ... and then there's the story from last season in Cologne. Many BMG fans are still pissed off, and the Ultras even called for "revenge" ... so the club fears serious clashes between parts of both fan groups and therefore made an appeal to avoid any violence on Saturday:

Hey UWE RAHN

Try to find me another "live-stream" of the game...it sure is one to not be missed;) i really hope JL comes back to earth and uses more attacking minded players 2 strikers with a 3rd one in the center-field even..no point in closing the game with defence and investing in counter-attacks:rolleyes:

Paauwe better also.. focus on his own game if anything! That "spielfuhrer" arm-band requires the highest level of performance and smarts...so far he has been far from those standards:rolleyes:
