This is absolutely amazing, not just for hitting number 20, but for the fact that he's above both Jody Conradt and Rick Barnes.

I know, I know. Normally I would assume Barnes, Condradt, Garrido would be higher than just soccer. I think a goal for supporters should be to keep Phil on this list because honestly publicity like this has social, political, financial capital ramifications. If the media annoints him powerful then we as supporters can really make that true. If we want a stadium, community hang out, etc associated with a franchise, Phil needs us to keep him relative as pertaining to a fanbase/constituency. Note almost everyone on this list has a relationship to UT or A&M.

Just a thought, team with Lance for something. It would be pretty cool seeing Aztex cycling jerseys and he can generate support.

That is really cool! I agree with you about everything except the Lance part. I am really burned out on hearing about Lance Armstrong, but that's probably just me. p.s. If Lance is reading this, no offense, please don't blackball me in Austin.

Lance is a little saturated but he brings a lot to the table without taking much off of it. In fact I have really changed my view on the Aztexs as of late. I look at them as a table, if a person is bringing a knife and fork I am cool if they drop the spoon. Hence, not a huge fan of the Wolf and Bobby combo because of political ties and motives (all previous impressions I am warming to them) I do believe they both brought more to the table than they removed.
