Are the game reports for MLS games available online?

MLS posts articles online and they show lineups, subs, scoring, stats, etc.

The problem is that the misconduct is tracked by someone from the home team watching from the press box; they make informed guesses and often get it wrong. In the HOU@RSL game the recap shows:

RSL -- Jamison Olave (caution; Reckless Foul) 14
HOU -- Patrick Ianni (caution; Reckless Foul) 56
HOU -- Bobby Boswell (caution; Reckless Foul) 70
HOU -- Wade Barrett (caution; Pushing, Holding) 73
HOU -- Ricardo Clark (caution; Tackle from Behind) 81
RSL -- Chris Wingert (ejection; Violent Conduct) 90
HOU -- Corey Ashe (caution; Reckless Foul) 92+

I'm pretty sure that Olave's caution was PI. When the CR gave the caution he pointed to several places on the field where Olave had fouled.

I'm also sure that three of the Houson yellows were for tactical fouls.

First of all, thanks for alerting me to the fact that the phantom caution on Craig Waibel that was initially posted on the match tracker was in fact a phantom. They must have put it up in error and removed it later when they figured it out. Now I can go back and fix my spreadsheet.

Also, I would also like to know if MLS match reports are available anywhere because that would be a fantastic help for my spreadsheet, as well.

Not sure of an 'official record' of the match. MLSNET.com has the 'match tracker' but the information appears unofficial. The wording of the cautions does not follow the LOTG. ie:

Discipline:
CLB -- Danny O'Rourke (caution; Professional Foul) 47
CHI -- Gonzalo Segares (caution; Professional Foul) 53
CLB -- Frankie Hejduk (caution; Diving, Exaggeration) 71
CLB -- Stefani Miglioranzi (caution; Professional Foul) 85
CHI -- Bakary Soumare (caution; Professional Foul) 89
CHI -- Brandon Prideaux (caution; Pushing, Holding) 93+

note the references to 'professional foul'. What else woult they be? Will they also write 'amatuerish foul'? I'd like to think there is a more descriptive/accurate writing out there... but maybe it's not for us to see.

Professional Foul while not an "official" term is used all the time by folks in discussing the type of foul. Not sure where it originated.

"Professional foul" is very descriptive; it is a subclass of UB. It's any foul done to slow or kill an attack. In the most recent 7+7 document it would be 1(UB).c.

I asked someone from RSL where the card descriptions come from and he told me that they are chosen from a list.

I have also heard people describe the "professional foul" as one which deliberately intends to injure an opponent in order to take the out of the game, the season, or their career.... lol.

I love the disparity between undefined lingo and terms that people have. I have also heard and seen Dadof6's description of that term. I also think I have seen at least 1 more use for it. It means a lot, and nothing at the same time because the laws do not list or define a "professional foul" but we all seem to know what one is, and it isn't only used by professionals. lol.

Both the LOTG and the ATR refer to tactical fouls as opposed to professional fouls, and I much prefer the former.

One simple update to "the list" and this annoyance would be eliminated.

I don't know why the MLS match reports can't include the actual reasons for the cards as reported by the center referee.
