Update: Portsmouth have put in their final offer for Liverpool striker Peter Crouch according to The Telegraph.
Analysis: Crouch has only 12 months left on his contract, Liverpool are seeking other strikers, and even if they stand pat, 'Pool doesn't give Crouch enough playing time to justify not accepting the reported offer.
