I then launched into a rant about the "stupid bastard" who told me I could play football on it...grrr :mad:

So me and my friends are trying out at our Junior College soccer team. So we do soccer weight room, futsol and after Intro to human sexuality which is the best class ever. I love college (or junior college at least)

My house has become a living hell... my sister is getting married tomorrow and she's driving everyone up the walls. She's mad!
I will be glad once all of this is over, and my school team's preseason work starts on Sunday, so it'll be a real chance to calm down. And my Lasers should arrive on Tuesday, so I be looking forward to that

If I can find another Dicks Sporting Goods that isn't on the other side of the country that carries the green vapors in my size, I might get them. The reason I'm looking to shop at Dicks is because I have two stupid giftcards totalling up to $55 that I need to get rid of. Unfortunately, they have the stupidest selection of boots. Last one I went to, the smallest size they had was 9.5... awesome.

So I'm in the office at nearly 1800 on a saturday, been here a long ass while and don't think I've got enough done to negate the coming in 2moz....so much for me taking some of the 10+ weeks holiday I'm owed before the end of september......
As it goes this is the first time I've come on BS at work since I started back here in december...and to think it was a full 4 years ago when I used to have NOTHING to do at work that I discovered this place, back when I was trying to get info on the new preds...how the world has changed! For starters those new preds essentially marked the end of my wearing em, and the people on here convinced me that my long-held reservations about my favourite sports brand being incapable of making footy boots were no-longer valid....

Anyone else with an anecdote of how/why they started using here? Humour me I'm sooooo bored (with so much procrastination to do!)

Ok, so I had to play left-back for my club's senior 2nd team yesterday. The 1st team played soon after, so I was put on the bench.

So I get called up by the coach and get told, "You must take the #4 shirt out of the kitbag - we've got that down on the teamsheet."

At half time as I was waiting on the field to get subbed on, the coach tells me, "Ok, you're going to be coming on in midfield, and play the Fabregas role. You know what to do."

If only my camera crew was there to record all this - more people would have believed this completely true story!!

I've decided that one of the worst decisions I've ever made was telling my mom "no" when she offered to buy me two pairs of boots.

Last summer I went to check out the, then new, soccer store, Marca Personal in Charlotte. They had a bunch of sale stuff (vapor 3s, v1s for 80-110 bucks), and I was looking at those, as well as the lasers. My mom loved the white lasers, and wanted to get me a pair, but I told her I could find them online for cheaper, so she said fine. I then had a pair of blue vapor 3s and a pair of white v1s which fit, and she said if I wanted them I could get them, and I said let's come back some other time and get them.


What an idiot I was, because since then, I've only gotten one new pair of boots, which were purchased with my own money. Which was in August.

I am going nuts, I want to buy another pair of soccer cleats!

so my ipod is crap and i have been relegated to my blackberry for my portable music. all i can fit is 4 full cd's on the tiny storage card i have. it looks like the last shadow puppets, muse, between the buried and me, and mew is all i will listen to for the next couple weeks until i get paid. what did people do working out before ipods? i don't remember such a day.

I got to be a "Ball Kid" at the MLS Earthquakes vs. Rapids game.
It was pretty cool, as I got to converse with some of the players.

Also, Erpen (Rapids) is an asshole who will argue fervently with a 15 year old...
