So you get football players who play out of anger - that is what drives them.

Then you get footballers who really just enjoy playing the game.

When I originally played football, I enjoyed it, I was better then my friends at it, and so I enjoyed it more. And then as I went on, I found that I took alot of my frustration out when playing football.

The frustration and anger fuels my energy levels, and tinacity, but I have a feeling that it actually has an adverse effect on my technique and decision making.

How is your game fueled? Joy or anger?

And I think I've just realised what it was that I should have had fueling me on the field.

I remember the one game i played RB and i actually really enjoyed it. It was a case of just sending long balls upto the strikers that the opposition couldn't defend. I think i had about 10 assists from the back! hahaha! Haven't played there since. But it was good for coming back from an injury!!

Well my mate who took over as captain when I left said the main problem is that they didn't have any defenders...I've played CB a few times and sort of just slotted in since I didn't want to run around too much! Haha!

And R&W I just want to win. Don't care what fuels it because it changes during the game. I set out with the best of intentions and when I score it's joy and happiness obviously, but when ********ers are kicking lumps out of you it changes to anger etc.

I always feel that i play a better game when i play with joy. Anger affects my game a lot too, but in a bad way. I become reckless, lose composure and make silly mistakes making me even more angry.

I think that is one aspect of Messi's game that has really improved lately (not to make a comparison between the two).

I can't believe Maradona is going to be the new coach of Argentina. It seems disasterous. Why can't AFA see this? I don't think quailfying for the World Cup is in danger (even though its a tight race this year), but I can't see them getting very far in the tournament with him.
