Nice Stadium you have, no match for ours but nice, I was there at your season opening, as I was on "Kur" som 60 km eastern of Mainhattan. Hope your season works well, except for 13./30. GD :)

Eintrachts game versus KSC today has been cancelled due to bad pitch-conditions, resulting from tuesday nights Madonna-Concert...

Rediculous planning there on all sides.
Special thanks to the DFL for giving us a friday night homegame this weekend even tough Eintracht has asked several times to have an awaygame...
What one earth are these old fucckers thinking?!?

Nice, I have another reason to kill Madonna :D

lol :D

She is hardly the one to blame tough. The concert date has been set since last February or so. Plenty of time for the DFL to realize it and NOT give us a freakin friday night homegame that same week!!

Bad for you. Shame you don't have a Zeppelinfeld like Nürnberg...

Btw: How was your birthday party, Patrick? Have you already eaten the cake I sent you yesterday? ;)

Thanks for the birthday wishes! :)

Eintracht now dropped into the relegationzone. Obviously with one game less. Still sucks.

Next game is at Schalke. We could well be deadlast after that matchday. Then again, Schalke were nice eough to decimate themselves yesterday, maybe we can make some use of that :P

At least the second team is doing fairly well in the Regionalliga (3-0 at Freiburg II yesterday)

All,

A friend of mine is coming to Germany and wants to go to the match on October 4 between Eintracht Frankfurt and 1899 Hoffenheim match.

Any idea on how to get tickets? Please pm me. All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Rishi

@Rishi: Im affraid not. This game is one of the Highlights of our season because it is played in Mannheim, which makes it another homegame. So tickets are more then rare...

----

Eintracht loses 1-2 in overtime to Hansa Rostock.
Caio missed a penalty in the 90th minute.
I dont know what it is, but somehow the team is about to mess up everything they have built up during the last years. Trouble is arising over Frankfurt... :(

These are the last 14 matches...

Eintracht - Nürnberg 1-3
Hannover - Eintracht 2-1
Eintracht - Bayern 1-3
Eintracht - Dortmund 1-1
Stuttgart - Eintracht 4-1
Eintracht - Wolfsburg 2-3
Schalke - Eintracht 1-0
Eintracht - MSV 4-2
Pfullendorf - Eintracht 0-3
Eintracht - Hertha 0-2
Köln - Eintracht 1-1
Wolfsburg - Eintracht 2-2
Schalke - Eintracht 0-1
Eintracht - Rostock 1-2 nV

= 2 wins in 14 matches. Against allready relegated Duisburg and a Regionalligateam.
And that with a team that is so full of potential...

Im not one to panick quickly or overreact. But seriously. It cant go on like that!

Maybe we do have to think about a new coach.
Maybe the Era Funkel is soon to be over.

The homegame against Bielefeld will be crucial!

Well since you have already played against us, I hope your team turns it around (of course until January/February ;) )

Same same feeling in MG at the moment. I hope that both coaches will survive the current crisis...

Maybe the Era Funkel is soon to be over.

Would be a pity, since Friedhelm Funkel did a good job in Frankfurt in my eyes. Nearby I really like him.

Well, nothing is lost yet if you beat Bielefeld and KSC...

So do I. He has done some amazing work here. No doubt. Its no suprise that he has been here longer then almost any other coach...
But since this spring something seems to be wrong. Its not just since yesterday. Ever since March we have played really bad football... The team seems to be completely out of form. Not a sinlge one that sticks out positively... I obviously dont know, but it does kinda look like something is wrong within the team...
Who knows.
Had Caio scored the goal, everything would be fine...

I guess it's because Streit is gone. All our goals came from him. After he left passing has suffered. I hope we will turn things around.

It's between Funkel and Luhukay - who will be the first coach to get sacked?

At least you scored the equaliser in the last few minutes of the match. For Frankfurt (and Gladbach), the relegation struggle has already started.

No I wouldnt see that as a big factor. Last spring after he was gone we played great football for a while... We do miss someone for good standards tough, thats true!

A loss at home against a seconddivisionist and a draw that feels like a loss to freakin Bielefeld... WTF!

And the Eintrachtfans whistle on allmost every single action, the entire game. Whistling and screamin "[insertname] Raus!"... Thats surely gonna help an allready insecure team! The once so great Nordwestkurve is decreasing more and more...

Im so ********ing pissed!

Ahahaha, Im a lot less pissed after seeing this hillarious spot for the Eintracht Museum.
Theyve been showing it in the stadium too...

A brief translation: (This is a local comedian)
"Eintracht really is the greatest!
Won 5 Uefa Cups, 12 times german champion, 3 times Champions league Winner, 14 German Cups and 2 World Championships!
Really!
And all the great players started here...
Franz Beckenbauer, Fritz Walter, Uwe Seeler, Pele, Maradonna, Bobby Charlton. All of them! Seriously! I wanna see anybody else do that!
If only one word of that was a lie, I wanna be struck by lightning right here and now!"
"The Truth and only the truth. In the new Eintracht Museum"
:D

That is quality.

so what the hell is wrong with Eintracht?

Plenty of things is seems.

The main probelm imo is that there isnt a main problem.
There are a bunch of different things that come together right now.
I see only one way of getting out of it: Winning a game! Soon!
