Good idea for a thread.
Some corrections:
2) Spain: Euro 2008 Winner, World Championship basketball 1959:confused: Did you mean 2006? The next WCB is in 2010. The only Gotcha is that one is World (Basketball) and the other is Euro. They lost the 2007 Eurobasket to Russia by a point (Same for Italy in 1982 and 1983).
7) Real Madrid: European Cup winner in soccer and basketball 1966.Real was the basketball European Champions' Cup winner every year from 1964 to 1968... except for 1966. :(
Brazil also has WC 1962 and WCB in 1963. They were the holders for both sports from 1959 to 1966!!!

No problem. It is a good think that I do;). I have been to 5 of the last 8 European Basketball Final Four (great long weekend trip/vacation) and I followed international basketball at least as much as I follow NCAA basketball and more than NBA. Having said that, basketball will never get higher than #2 in my list of best sports to follow :D.
