As I just typed at the Stuttgart thread, I know they have a lot of Abu Dhabi money now, but I smell a bit of English "sensation" there.
Otherwise known as "bullshit......." ;)
I doubt any British news source would bring up Mario Gomez for "sensation" value at the moment considering his Euro 2008 (which is where most people abroad saw him for the first time). If they report on Plan B interest in Gomez, it's definitely for real.
Edit: I just read it was actually the new owner-in-chief himself who revealed that interest in Villa/Gomez.

We might want to do this discussion at the Stuttgart thread.

Seems I jumped the gun on the Voronin thing, but there were reports from good sources that was done.

Well kicker says he's "in visier"...
I think we've got him in the bag. Sky is usually right about things being done...

Oh and yes, I was wrong. I see a story with the owner's comments too.

Hey there.
I was wondering if someone could help me out.
I am trying to create Hertha BSC for my copy of Pro Evo 2008. :D
I was wondering if anyone had a squad list for the Hertha team that finished this past season. In other words, I would need the Hertha squad from the 07/08 season.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Cheers!:)

Dude, I saw this kid play for Waldhof Mannheim in a friendly against Bayern last season.
I think he has a chance to be freakin' outstanding.
I know that's a lot to say based on one match, but his kid showed not only athletic talent, but guts and brains too.

Think he's our #2 right now actually, have never seen him personally though. Could be another Neuer I've heard though.
That being said though, Drobny doesn't have much to fear atm. He's done quite well so far, solid goalkeeper.

Kacar scored 5 goals for our U21 team in the match against Hungary. Absolutely amazing performance.

I'd be happy if he scored that in a season ;)

He is given more defensive role at Hertha. In our team he is offensive midfielder almost second striker.

Once again Pantelic has shown what he is really made of. Once again he has shown that against class defenders he does not stand a chance.English commentator on Eurosport kept calling him a " predator". Yes he is a predator, but against teams like Hoffenhaim, Frankfurt, Arminia, Cottbus....
Kacar. He played full 90 minutes against Hungary on Sunday. And yet, he was one of our best players against France. He did great offensively and defensively, had 2 decent headers, clear penalty.
Hertha fans believe that within 2-3 years he will leave for Bayern, or Manchester or some other great team. I second that.

Kacar again. He is on fire. Too bad that you conceded goal in the last minute.

Yea and Pantelic misses ANOTHER penalty, he's 0 for 4 in the last 2 years IIRC. Dammit.
