anyone know if hertha is going to sell or keep simunic? i know there has been some interest from england but that has died down..it surprises me he hasnt attracted more interest affter his excellent performance at the euros..for whatever the reason he seems to play much better for his country then club..

0:2 against Ljubljana and I think we were good money for it, even though it looked like we were coasting. Pantelic wasn't that great, but 2 goals is 2 goals. Cicero was my MotM, he was quite decisive...

Although it's probably unfair to expect good performances with a guy like Falko Götz in charge. Favre seems to be on the right track.

Götz didn't have the players Favre does. Hertha seems to be finally making some smart buys, unlike before.

And to be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with Hertha last night. Beating up on minnows and beating the big boys in the real competition are two different things.

I wouldn't be so quick to call that "good form" just yet. The reality is, you guys beat up on two sides who probably wouldn't make in the German 2nd Bundesliga.

I don't expect Hertha to win the UEFA Cup, but as long as they don't lose matches against minnows, and therefore unecessarily cost the Bundesliga points, I'll be happy. Beggars can't be choosers... ;)

Haha yea I agree, I mean we nearly lost to freaking Ameri Tbilisi 2 years ago and then lost to Odense...

I'm more happy about the fact that it seemed like Hertha were coasting throughout most of this match and still won convincingly...you would not see that type of result w/ the players and coach from previous years.

I think Cicero will be our best signing of this season, a definite upgrade over Mineiro/Dardai/Lustenberger.
