Kuijt does look better on the wing, I'm just surprised the Shite haven't bought anyone to replace him (unless they think Pennant or someone like that will do so).

Anyways, early days yet for Hertha, but all the signs are very encouraging. The only thing I'm worried about it 1) Friedrich and Pantelic having not signed a long term deal and 2) Kaka, but I think Kaka's problem is he's not fully settled yet (at least I hope thats his problem). He even looked shaky against St. Patrick's though, although it seems like its a communication problem more than an ability problem.

You can already see big improvements on the team. Drobny seems to be very assured in net, which is already an improvement over last year, where he was dodgy in many matches. Marc Stein is a capable LB, although, who we got for free! Definitely at least an equal to Malik Fathi so far, and we got 4.5 mio I think for Malik. Good piece of business by Hoeness and Favre. Cicero and Kacar are doing well, and Pantelic, not last 3 games withstanding, has been doing well. Ebert also seems to be doing much better than last year (although injury has hindered him a bit). Only player I've been disappointed with is Raffael, who seems to disappear in some games. He also had a pretty poor pre-season as well.

Hertha has offered 4 mil euros for Zoran Tosic , the best player of Partizan.Ivan Tomic their director of football said so. They are still weighing offers.

Dude, it could be true, but check your German sources before you jump to believe......

Club officials are known to throw big club "names" out there to try to raise a player's market value.

Especially if that club already has players from that nation.

Apparently he's an attacking midfielder. 21 years old. Played 46 times for Patizan and scored 16 goals. Played 25 times for Zrenjanin and scored 2. Partizan apparently only signed the guy last fall.

He is playing in a great form. I think he costs far more than 4 mil. euros. In my opinion he is as good as Sulejmani. His goal against Rad yesterday was great.

That is something Ivan Tomic personally said on TV . And, i do not think that Hertha is a big club for Tosic.

Raffael and his wife have had their first baby. :) Congrats Raffael. Probably a good reason why Raffa hasn't played that well in the first few weeks of the season, so my apologies to him over a few posts saying that hes been relatively anonymous. It also doesn't really help that he's out of position, playing where the injured Patrick Ebert usually is.

We have a DfB Pokal cup game against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and it looks like Raffael will play. Joe Simunic is still serving a ban for the DfB Pokal and will not play.

I hope we will see this lineup against Dortmund

---------------Drobny------------------
Friedrich----von Bergen--Kaka----Stein
---------------Kacar
---Pisczcek----------------------Cicero
--------------Raffael
--------Woronin--------Pantelic

I think that your coach has realized by now that Kacar is more effective as offensive midfielder.

Sorry, but I don't give a rat's ass about what Ivan Tomic "personally said on TV." Too many times club heads in that region have said things "personally" and it still turned out to be bullshit.

So excuse me if I don't jump at everything from that region whether it is "personally said" or not.

Looks like Kacar will be rested tomorrow. Lustenberger will probably play.

Won't take that much to beat us the way we've looked in our last two matches and all except for 25 minutes of the last three matches.

I don't take too much stock into that. I think Dortmund will win tomorrow. I hope for a surprise though.

Like I just told you at the BVB sub-forum, I don't know how the hell you can honestly believe that.

If you're saying that to avoid disappointment if you guys do lose then OK, but after these last three Dortmund "performances", you'd have to be an idiot to truly believe you're going to lose.

Just a gut feeling. I think we'll lose badly too. I'm am so trying to jinx Dortmund lol no really think we're going to lose because I don't think our boys will be up for it to be honest.

As I said, team form going into the match points to you guys winning. But that means nothing compared to gut feeling.......

Kacar isn't "being rested" according to "Kicker."

According to them, he's out with a strained calf muscle.

Someone reading what you write would think that you are an expert for the Balkans. You write with such a confidence , although you are usually wrong.
I only wrote here what Ivan Tomic answered to a journalist at a press-conference prior to the match Poli Timisoara-Partizan.
If Ivan Tomic or other heads in the Balkans usually say what they do not think than there is something wrong with their head.
I guess that writing -personally- under quotation marks is your way of saying that i am lying. Why? I do not like to beat about the bush.
If you are used to so many lies in the West, let me tell you that it is still not top fashion here.

His injury is not so serious and he will be ready for the next league macth.
