Debolla will go on loan for a month to Chesterfield. Due to an injury that he picked up in training, the loan has not started yet. As soon as he is healthy, he will start the loan. It is for only 4 weeks, so Chesterfield wants to get as much out of him as he can. This could be a great chance for Debolla to get some matches and progress. He is only 20 years old.

DEBOLLA INJURED ON DEBUT
Matt Wright reports

Mark DeBolla’s Football League debut ended in disappointment on Saturday when the striker, on loan with Chesterfield, was carried off with torn ankle ligaments.

The 20-year-old was stretchered from the field in the 79th minute of the Spireites home match against Notts County at the Recreation Ground, with the injury putting paid to his one-month spell in the Midlands.

Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland said: “We are very disappointed for Mark and sincerely hope he recovers as soon as possible.

“It really looked as though he would give us the spark up front that we needed, but it is possible we may never know now, although we will monitor his progress.”

What a bummer for Debolla. Here was his chance to get matches on the first team, and he gets injured. I hope that he quickly recovers.
