Here's a fun site run by a financial anorak, he's so far only covered the city clubs but has plans to start breakdowns of some smaller clubs finances in the future.
It's quite good if you are interested in comparing and contrasting how other teams operate their finances, and take a look at Hearts.

Very interesting. I hope this site builds a huge data base in the near future.

Yeah its kinda skint, I am really intrested to see how far a club goes into debt when winning promtion to the EPL. That right there is in enough sense to really kill any desire to move leagues imo. :)

100-1 on Hearts getting relegated.
if all Hearts fans put £20 on it then they could re-invest £2k in their club once Vlad the Mad pulls the carpet out from underneath them.

This just confirms that hearts are in a terrible state and that Romanov is completely off the reservation.
He looked like he was going to do wonders as well when they were top of the league and flying a few years back but obviously the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" doesn't translate too well in Lithuanian.

with the latest news regarding MIH debt increasing to £759mill i wonder about the financial impact it will have on his club.
especially so as Murray has moved a lot of his business into property and the latest figures are only for January 08 and the depression didn't hit until after January 08.
so if it looks bad now, just wait until next year.
start cranking up the rumour mill for possible exits from Ibrox in January.

Have Hearts been paid yet?
it was suggested they would be paid by Monday but that hasn't been confirmed. so i'm afraid you'll have to wait another 6hrs and 10mins. :)

it would seem that the Hearts players did get paid today... sort of.
they got their basic pay but not their super duper bonus payments they were supposed to receive. not even an extra penny for Saturday's victory.
however, that's just a side show. the really interesting stuff is happening on the South side of Glasgow. delve a bit deeper into MIH's latest set of figures and things get interesting.
