foxsoccer stated earlier in the week that gilberto was going to panathinaikos for 8 mil GBP, but in their article for when the deal officially went through, they said it was for 1 mil GBP???

Gilberto is 30 odd and was crap for the most part of last season, he was never going to command an £8m fee.

He is still the highest payed player in the Super League.

And Panathinaikos have a legitimately proven coach in Henk Ten Cate.

Paris St-Germain have rapped up the signing of Ludovic Giuly for €3 million, on a 3 year contract.

after all this tapping up bollocks thats been going on this summer, after being on the recieving end of all this, i find myself feeling slightly sorry for the likes of arsenal etc for players jumping ship. utd have most definatly gone ahead of chelsea and goons in my most hated, with their approach of trying to weeken a rival underhand, as per normal in utds case, liverpool i always hated as scousers disgust me in general and should not be considered english...

red nose and pedro are wankers. and so are their clubs. i hope ronaldo shits all over utd now, i was on utds side before all this, however i dont live in a world of double standards, so i laugh in the face of any utd fan that screams blue murder! and who could blame ronaldo? real madrid will ALWAYS be bigger than them.

so once man ure and liverpool are done tapping up berbacunt and lepracaun, spurs will try and sign 4 players at the combined cost of £57 apparently.

diego capel, david bentley, roman pavlychenko and diego milito.

also rumours of arshavin again, wouldnt mind him and bentley, not sure about the rest though...

Freddy Adu has been loaned out to Monaco. Hakan Yakin has signed for A-Gharafi in Qatar. Makelele to PSG today, still wondering about Thuram though.

And Abel Xavier has been waived by the Galaxy.

Heh Strachs is awesome, he looked sooooo mad stood right by the touchline as Celts acted annoyed their summer is done already!
Bentley in 5, erm, thats simply such a bad number he should have refused the deal if he's to get that permanent!

Hahaha, i personally think that Gareth Barry should stay at Villa. I have a feeling he might be a bit of a bench warmer at Liverpool.

If Barry comes to 'Pool, he's likely going to take Alonso's spot, or even result in Alonso being sold to Juve, who have been pursuing him this summer.

Villa arent going to welcome him back unless he begs on his knees and apologises to the club + fans. Villa are only holding back for reputations sake, its good for them though. same goes for you know who i s'pose.

Good for them, he won't go.

Get Barry in at the Arse!
